  • That would be cool but I don't think these are in good enough condition, they have a fair bit of white scratching down both sides that I just covered with black lecccy tape.

  • You could give me some cash as well then...

Or I might just buy the Tifosi ones and sell on the Alpinas.

Alpina forks still give me nightmares anyway..

  • How about we see when your's arrive?

I've cut the steerer on mine down to 230 I think.

oh, i would go some alpinas in trade for my road forks, would depend on how much steerer you need though

  • He rides a similar size to me so I don't think you have enough left.

  • My current Dolan is 58cm and I needed 250mm for 1cm of spacers.

I think the TC geometry is different, but I imagine it's still going to be 230mm+.

How much have you got Lanez?

  • I has full carbon scott road forks as well with 250+ steerer if you fancy a px.

  • I'd quite like drilled tracky forks, hence the Tifosis looking interesting.

Might just trying brklzing to the track for the summer (<1 mile anyway) and then finding something when the season is over

  • Tifosis have massive axle-crown, will turn any frame into a chopper..

    /justsayin

  • You can drill the alpinas according to tester anyway

*see AQA my post from the other day

Doesn't look that bad on young 'uns bike here

  • Alpinas are drilled but have a little steel bung that has to be drilled out again.
    That's challenging.
Tifosis are hot on compact geo frames.

  • tom you are relocating?

  • Have to, I have a 6 week training course in summer which isn't paid, but accommodation provided. Moving out before it starts then looking for a new place after it's over.

ted can do them for you in 2 minutes, other bike shops seem to struggle with them

    <mile to a track?

  • New wheels!

  • Might wait for the induction session tomorrow to heckle you for being on a carbon track bike :D

  • Fuck you, I'm scared to turn up on it and be shit.

    All the gear...

  • Need to even out those clearances indra

  • Needs alpinas?

If Tommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm's still up for the trade it might work.

  • or just put a link in the chain

  • N3V3R!

I reckon it'll be less slammed when I run 51/16 at the track.

Need to actually take ownership of the frame and forks first and see what I think. If drilling it isn't too difficult that might be the route I take to be honest.

    What are the wheels?
