Umm. I think they only sent two - the welcome mag months ago, and the final instructions take this document with you to register one from early july. So yes, error. I went back to the flat and retrieved mine last week. I'd phoned them and told them i'd moved house a couple of weeks before when I realised all the forms had gone out, but although they acknowledged my email I never got anything through the post so not sure how effective it really is. Maybe they just put a note against you so at registration they are forewarned. Who knows. Give them a call.

I finally have confirmation from the organisers that I am actually registered for this thing.
Which I am duly totally bedwetting, and deferring until next year.

how does one defer?
And whats the latest day we can?
and if its through a charity do i have to do it?
What about the money ive raised?
And where is this place TW?

It is easy to defer.
I was supposed to be doing it last year, but then I had my accident.
Just told the charity I got my place through and they said it was no prob and automatically put me in for 2014, froze my JustGiving place and did everything required to register me when the time came around. -

Going to register at lunch today. Any interesting thoughts on the expo I'll dump here

Not that much happening in there. Register and then GTFO would be my suggestion. Don't bother with the exhibition unless you are a huge fan dhb and wiggle-branded stuff, but if so then you'll be in 7th heaven etc.

Registered nice and easy, quick pootle about around the stands. Lots of people buying rain coats from Wiggle and High5 stuff. Not much else to report.

There are no descents on the route that justify a rain jacket in August! I guess some people just want to get sweaty without having to pedal.

Recommend collecting the gear now or early Friday..
Walk-in, walk-out at present but can see how it is going to be rammed this weekend.
Bike parking was good but there were only 30 other bikes present when I went. -

^^ you must be able to give rep etc...
Al I think it was pretty quiet today so I can't say for waiting times once youre in the Excel but it took me about a full hour (by walking to the DLR at Poplar) and speaking to a person at the number collection point right away.

It does indeed. I'm waiting for confirmation but I've volunteered to be a marshal at the Olympic Park end. I will be the one who looks like a drowned rat.
You just need your ride number, I think, and some form of photo ID, a urine sample, and a tracking chip embedded in your neck.
