It was pissing down, stopped for the moment. On my lonesome at the start.

Just saw a chap with 90mm carbon front and rear with mudguards- I've been outdone!

Stuffing my face and praying to the coffee gods to visit me.

Good luck, I have a more leisurely 8:15 start, though I've just discovered that I can't cross at Tower Bridge, so need to come up with a different route to get to the start...

Just dropped my brother off at the start. Pootled about getting in the way for a bit but didn't see anyone I recognised. Back home now, think I'll go back to bed for a bit.

Leith Hill and Box Hill have been cut from the route.

Biblical downpours in Putney right now. It won't be fun (then again, if you're having fun you're not doing it right.)

Home from a fun very early start. I was the shouty lady marshalling the front of G Yellow. Rain just started as we waved them off.

this lots of ugly bikes with odd coloured spokes
the view down that road ^ ( shoosh's pictures ) was great so many bikes queing up waiting to depart
didn't see anyone i knew at 7am so went back home avoided all rain apart from the last 100m
