Known for a rather crude song called Face Down Ass Up
Inner voice: It’s not funny if you have to explain it, Dan.

This is Tilly, aka shop cat of Punk Bikes in Cardiff. She rules the roost

And another.... she’s presenting herself, even though she’s been spayed. She does it when she’s over-stimulated after a grooming session or lots of tummy rubs. The wife calls it her tipper truck position :)

Watching or judging you on your beverage/food decisions?

Mostly indecisive grumbling as to stay in or go out, really wants out but can't be arsed.

Mush is going to his new home on the 30th, I've been pretty sure he's going to be a cuddler, tonight I've been proven correct!

At the risk of ending up being quoted in the 'Overheard in the Golf Club' thread; I'm going to have a couple of spare hours in London this holiday and was toying with the idea of going to a cat cafe. I've not got any of my own, cats that is, but do like them. I've not been to any animal cafe before, and I know that there have been some concerns about them with respect to the cats welfare. I'd be interested to hear LFGSSers views, and of course any recommendations. Ta.

@JoePablo Had my first encounter with a cat-caff.
This was an independant Cafe, i belive some are a chain/group set up.
They have been around for a while so not a new thing. Someone tried an Owl Cafe and that got a lot of flack because Owls are not the same as cats and dogs where people are concerned. My experience was pretty good. Big open space cafe with walkways around the walls and high up perchs and baskets/beds to hide away in. Was something to think about to do at home maybe.
Big box of toys, food and water.
My wife went in too a few days later, more people in the cafe, but being early afternoon many cats where napping high up :) and not active. I went in early and got mobbed by them :)
Code of conduct is not pick up or disturb sleepers. Let the cats come to you, mostly common sense things.I could see how it could go wrong, all depends on the owners. One i was in do private parties, work with children and learning issues, cat bingo night, movie night etc etc.
For me it was a random stop for a drink and curious. Will go back again as Maine Coon :) although the Bengals where lovely too :) -

People probably shouldn't google it at work with the sound up (I already know what it is..).
Here is a recent FDAU cat, and another in a box near the radiator.

How did I miss that, same page too! Anyway, many thanks @853Superfly .
I saw a cat cafe in Birmingham last weekend. It was closing so I didn't get a chance to go in, but it piqued my curiosity. Only one I can find in London is https://www.ladydinahs.com/, anyone been?

If I had the room, I’d have kept the box and make a house for her. Definitely enough space in there for a scratch pad and some cosy sleeping spot.
Shame I don’t have the space... 🤷🏻♀️

One made it into the catlock with 2 others in hot pursuit as i went into the cafe area :)
If a Maine come up via rescue i think other half would go for it.
Current little fella is about 10 years old and i wonder if he's lonely so another cat for company might work. Loads of cats around us in the last house, only seen 3 here and not exactly close to us.
