  • ..from maria.

    the ghost looks excited

  • Didn't you say your sis is a vet? just ask her for some spare microchips and take the matter to your own hands... we won't snitch.

Miss Mouse, did your 2 cats come as a pair/pack? I am thinking maybe few months down the line, when I finally finish with my never ending studies, I want to get another cat for Patch, she looks like she is so bored half the time...

They did come together. They both picked me :) to join the pack already living at mum's.

Celia Hammond generally only offer their cats for adoption in pairs. I'm so glad I did take two. For the sake of a few extra £ for food and care costs they have been the greatest friends and playmates. This has been particularly useful when I've had to be away for extended periods. I would hate to leave one on their own. If you decide to get another, do it soon. Patch is much more likely to accept a newcomer while she's still young herself.

  • I wonder if you can microchip children...?

I rescued mine from Celia Hammond but as she was a little older was allowed to have one mainly because my wife didnt want 2. I was given a kitten this year and my cat took a while to take to him. There was a lot of chasing and mock fighting from both but they are now inseparable.

  • Aw that's good. My mums 13 yr old cat still hates mine with a vengeance :(

  • ..add a dog.

I wish Battersea would have given Patch a chance to keep at least one of her kittens, when I fist met her, she had only just given birth to 3, but they were all gone already, didn't even get to meet them. As far as I can work out, Battersea gives kittens away at the 1st opportunity. It would have been wonderful if I could also adopt one of Patch's kiddos.

that also is a good idea... would it be possible to train a cat to walk a dog? I am kidda lazy...

    Do they live together??

Maybe I will wait for the next forum's kitten... they do come about often enough... anyone??

  • that also is a good idea...

..was talking to Miss Mouse - the idea was to bring in a common enemy so the two cats get along better!

  • Oi. Less chát, more cat.

    Geddit?

  • I'll get my coat...

Seriously though, I'm not seeing any cat content. I am disappoint

We have two dogs here already. The cats all love the dogs.

If you're alluding to the French word for 'cat', that's spelled without the accent aigu.

Cat's can't really 'smile', but I assure you a lot of them are pretty happy folk.

  • RIP Suki the Abernethy Rd cat whose owner stuck up some posters to tell everybody she died last week. She used to amuse me hugely by sharpening her claws on the soft top of a Maserati that parked on her patch whilst demanding rubs very loudly.

Well, I was, yes... perhaps "less of le chat" would have worked better ;)

  • Our baby is a year old this week ....

  • Patch just did a poop on the carpet and sat about 2 meters away from it looking sad... and wouldn't play with me... on a serious note, she still does seem poorly, like she wouldn't go out as much, and isn't eating as much... should I be worried?? As the moment, she is sat on her chair very quietly and wouldn't really interact with me, is it because she feels bad about the poop or else?? Any suggestion??

  • Poop on the carpet yourself, then join her watching it from 2 meters away and see what happens.

  • Couldnt she get to the litter tray?

  • She would have had to go pass the litter tray in order to go into the bedroom and poop... Thinking about it, I think it was attention seeking, coz I have been busy this last week and didn't spend as much time with her. But still why wouldn't she go out even in sunny weather? It's not that cold, is it?

  • Mine follow me around everywhere to the point they get in my feet more often than not. Dont think i have any fear of them pooping anywhere because they are seeking attention.

  • Mine does the same a lot of the time but I had to actively ignore her the last few days coz of a major deadline yesterday. It was probably a punishment for me... cats!!!
