  • Managed to tread on both cats yesterday whilst sporting Sidis. Both cats distinctly unamused, but not permanently damaged.

Cat whose identity will not be revealed showed displeasure by weeing on the bath mat. Fair enough, I thought.

  • I say Newton

  • .

  • I don't think he's showing his displeasure by waiting 12 h and then weeing somewhere inappropriate... I think he's just being a git.

  • The Wolf is fine, he'd actually perked up quite a lot since yesterday, but I took him anyway. Vet said he had a wound on his nose (maybe from a fight), which is probably what was causing the licking, his teeth and everything else is fine. If anything he said he was a little underweight, which is probably our fault as we've been maybe too concious of not letting him get fat, he was 4.2kg (last years weight was 4.7 and the vet said to be careful he doesnt get any bigger) we're going to beef up his diet a bit and get him to 4.5 by the time he has his jabs in March.

Also new cat box was actually pretty good, he still didn't enjoy the experience but there were less plaintive meows than usual.
I bought him a bit big of pork fillet for dinner tonight to start the new diet :-)

  • Vase of flowers put out, 3 minutes later contents of vase split onto side, sofa, floor and laptop. Fuck you cat.

  • Cats: assholes

  • Fo realz.

  • I'm selling some Burns dry food if anyone needs any? As my Stanley has a skin condition :(

  • Your fault, the cat feng shui'd the flat as the flowers were in the wrong place.

  • Opie cat has a weird fleshy lump about halfway down his back, it doesn't appear to be bothering him and it doesn't hurt when I poke/prod it. It's definitely popped up in the last few days because its really noticeable when you stroke him (which I do a lot)

I'm going to take him to the vet after work but has anyone ever had anything similar with their cats? I'm not sure if it's just some kind of swelling or bruise because him and Gomez were beating the shit out of each other last night.

  • I had a cat that had a sebaceous cyst because of a blocked hair follicle, they are harmless and can be left but best to go to the vet to make sure.

  • Yeah he's definitely going to the vet either this evening or tomorrow morning (depending on appointment availability)

  • This guy has been attacking in the night with some regularity. WTF?

  • What is he/she doing?

  • no wonder. standard punishment for red tyres

  • That is an amazing cat.
The level of disdain is massive.

  • That is the standard cat face...

  • Opie cat (aka "you little jerk!") has figured out how to open the under the counter fridge we just bought.

Obviously he hasn't learned how to close it again so everything is warm and has probably been licked.
