Thinking of you, Oz! :( xx

Sorry to hear that OZ.
Amazing how the annoying/energetic/sleepy balls of fur slowly creep in to your life and then suddenly depart, leaving a big hole in your heart.

Cats are always the first and last things I see when I open my front door, and I can't expect them not to be there. So so sorry to hear this, I hope you're alright.

^ Sad times in your household too :(
Amazing really that anyone keeps pets when their departure often causes us such distress.

It's alright, if something lives it'll die at some point, Gigantor had a pretty decent life, his brother Murray is a bit put out though, they normally don't last long once one goes.

OK my girlfriend is looking for a kitten from about 8 weeks old sooner or later. Does anyone know of any from a breeder etc.... please. She does prefer ginger but TBH we will be happy with any :) Thanks

Get a recuse cat, much more rewarding... Loads of places depends on where you live.

Get a recuse cat
That sounds to me like a pretty litigious pet. :)

When they are not fighting they are actually a cute couple...

^ I know a few couples who match that description :)

We got ours from a "free to a good home" ad on www.kittenads.co.uk. That site is quite good because you can filter out non-free kittens and search by region.
Getting your kittens from random people on the Internet means that you can't trust that they've been wormed and so on so you'll have to get your vet to give them a full service.
Also, it's important not to hand over any money. In my opinion if you don't have any reason to trust the supplier that's the only reliable way to be sure that your kittens didn't come from a kitty mill.

I read up on this recently. While of course nothing lives forever, some do get to 19-21. We have all probably come across at least one haggard, blind, dribbling and/or cantankerous moggy that lives to be 23 or older. On average though, they live to 13.
Presumably, that average is brought down by poorly looked after animals and accidental deaths.
Whenever or however they go, it's the pits :(
My g/fs cat Suzi is 23 (same age as her son,so no mistake),and she is incredibly well and happy.......has only ever eaten fish and dry food. g/f teaches yoga from her home and I have a feeling the super chilled out atmosphere has'nt hurt.......she has none of that skankyness
older cats get if ykwim.....If you were told she was 10 you would accept no question.....extraordinary.... -

BAHAHAHAHAHA!

Fuck. The beast is getting all hench n shit again. This is disturbing as we still feed him the same amount as everyone else. He's suddenly gone from skinny lazy sod, to overly muscled palm sized head monster of shred.
I made a mistake the other day and tried to pet him while there was catnip around......

Better table manners than most humans!
So sorry to read this, Oz. Are you alright?
