  • cat out in the drizzle isn't good

Perhaps a box could be provided?

More concerned about the lack of chip tho

There are legions of cat owners who fit this profile. Have a look at cat groups on Nextdoor. It's a constant battle by the cat charities to get so-called pet cats chipped and neutered and jabbed against disease. My last cat rescued herself from a neglectful owner by asking me for help. She was paranoid about not being fed, smelly because no tray and scared of other cats, never been to the vet, owner didn't know what gender she was. Later on I caught one of her brothers who'd been feral for years. A charity rehomed him.

  • Some covering is a great idea.

As for the chip, tho all cats had to be chipped now.

Thank you for taking in the cat, some people don't deserve cats. Oh I'm a firm believer in all cats being neutered and chipped.

  • tho all cats had to be chipped now.

Not yet. New law in June next year. Which many owners will never know about.

  • and relax...

  • It's a trap!

  • Always!

  • Moving to France next week and waiting for the travelling paperwork in vets, no idea it was a 10 page document they had to fill out, no wonder it costs so much!

Incredible that it's only valid for 10 days, gotta love those brexit dividends!

  • My cats don’t get enough attention or pictures now I’ve got kids. Felix is about 12 or 13. We’ve had him about 11 years. Lost his brother Mao in the road when they were about 5.

  • Grumpy, hungriest, most pliable cat ever. Tolerant of everything the kids do to him. Covid superspreader during lockdown. Goes out at school drop-off time and makes all the local school kids late for school.

  • Rare picture of the other one. Suki. She’s about 9. Used to be quite brave but got chased up a tree by a dog and got a bad hernia when she fell out the tree a couple of days later. She’s very gentle but spooky. Fearsome killer when she needs to be though.

  • I have been adopted again. The cat distribution system sent me another one.

She turned up over a week ago and hadn't left. My found cat ads all went unanswered. The vet said she's middle aged and not chipped. We will take her on as long as her and our other cat continue getting to know each other OK.

    Meet Zissou.

  • Zizzou and the Life Cazanique?

Cats that adopt you are great. My parents were on a three cat streak for a decade.

  • Zissou looks very friendly 🙂

On a sidenote that Lego Ghostbusters van and Bonsai are both awesome!

  • Exactly!

Cats just like to stroll in and take up residence with us.

  • looks like a little champ!

  • we have a tabby and b&w too.

Tabby is a bit more nervy, b&w is very sociable. and then sometimes just zonks out:

  • You are a lovely person.

Maybe cats just know you are a push over.

Hope Jaffa likes his new family member

  • They're getting used to each other.

  • I rate people by the way they treat cats, especially as you are caring about Jaffa

  • Our 14 yo tabby has been very quiet and off her food yesterday and today and we've just found she has a lump on the side of her jaw/neck that doesn't seem to be tender or sore as she's letting us touch it. No obvious puncture wound or anything so hope it's just an infection we can get cleared up 😞

  • Wow, much pus, many boak.

  • Someone emerged from the back of the washing machine ...

  • Kitty spending the night in pet hospital on fluids and antibiotics for the bargain price of £800

  • Poor girl didn't make it, 14 years of perfect health and all went to shit in 10 days. The infection managed to wreck her kidneys that might have had mild disease already and no symptoms but this overwhelmed her.

    RIP Poppy you tiny star
