  • thanks mate

  • Nice looking build so far drøn. Will you be altering the Kona when it's done?

  • thank you.
the kona currently looks like this v , I've taken the bars and brakes from the photo in the first post.

  • ^ One of my favourite forum bikes.

    Glad it's staying :-)

  • of course.
it will get the super motos again when the weather permits it. they are pretty awesome tyres.

  • provisional spec sheet.:

  • btw, dammit, can you wheigh the 2:1 when it arrives? the oryg is quite a porker, I think, at 126 grams including all cables and adjusters. that will obviously drop a bit when I pull it apart.

  • nice. thanks. it looks pretty solid even though it's such small gobbins.

  • Feels/looks very nicely made- I'll be able to substantiate or deny that shortly.

  • I don't think they do black, but I own a roll of electrical tape so mine might become black, and I got mine from "Xtreme Bike&Sport" on US eBay.

He (unasked) marked it as a gift, which was nice.

  • dayummm

  • If you're concern about weight, is the idea of having a pompino with mini-v on rear with disc fork not on the card?

  • surely a no-brake s lighter than your mini-v, non?
    edit: ;-)

  • I think mine came to £40 shipped- still spendy for sure.

Given that I could have stopped the left hand lever flapping by using the spring from a retractable biro it's hugely spendy, but I thought if it was possible to use both levers then that would be worth a bit of expenditure.

    where from?

just seen where ignore - thanks

  • Lookin awesome

  • interested see how you set this up and how well it works

  • me too, haha.

  • ^^ nice! Where did you get these done? Would love to put some custom decals on my bro's bike

  • thank you.

thay are made buy a guy in UK called Tom, he is very easy to deal with and might even be able to help with design/font stuff too.
I paid 22 pounds plus shipping.
shoot me a PM and I'll give you his email.

  • I also got the cockpit together, or rather, got at stem to put on the bars:

  • Awesome- how does yours go together?

  • the cable from the right hand lever runs all the way to the caliper and through the doubler thingy. the left hand lever cable is fixed to the little round piston inside the barrel. when the left lever is pulled the piston pushes the right lever cable outer apart or forward inside the barrel.

think of it as an in line cross top lever that is operated from the opposite drop bar lever.
I need an in line adjuster before I put it together.
    I hope I'm clear enough.
