  • Yeah for the "road" version you have to develop a certain technique :)

  • I'm interested in how the new Look S-Track pedals work, they look good on paper

  • Only downside is that it doesn't allowed side adjustment like an SPD.

  • Try again Ed?

  • Bike looks fantastic drøn, which Ritchey bars are those?

  • A poor man Speedvagen indeed, it's awesome.

Thanks a lot. amazing what a set of decals can do.

how well do the brakes work? interested to see more pics of that set up

right now it doesn't work really well. my splitter device works good, but the caliper won't really bite. maybe the rotor just needs bedding in, maybe I have contaminated the pads with greasy fingers.

    Wow very nice indeed!

thank you. did you get to get some decals for your project?

the bars are just called ritchey classic. it's the same curve as one of their standard bars. the logic curve I think off the top of my head.

  • Likely that it need to be bedded in, do you have a barrier adjuster on the cable?

no, but I've got one in my pocket. will mount it at some point.

  • Would recommend you to, easier to fine tune the pads closer to the rotor after you adjust the brakes

    Nice one, cheers.

  • Bike looks awesome! Makes me want a gold chain for mine!!

  • What chain is that anyway? Can't find anything decent in 3/32 in gold.

  • wipperman 9 speed! ftwww (for the weight weenie win)

  • Ah, I'm using a velosolo cog so I need an 8 speed :(

  • doubtful, it'll fit either way.

No reason why you can't use wipperman 8 speed one thought (and they're cheaper).

  • Wipperman don't do a gold 8 speed chain as far as I know and I've had problems with chains being a tight fit on velosolo cogs in the past so I'm pretty sure it's not an option, unfortunately.

  • I don't think it will fit the velo solo cog. I bought a surly cog because they are a bit narrower.
I did contemplate grinding down a normal 3/32 cog though. it just might be worth it...?

  • Think I'll just stick with a silver chain till I change it from fixed to single speed.

  • you know what to do.

  • and now in fully SSCX mode. and in sweden too.

  • Lovely looking bike :-)

    although..... black seatpost?

    Or is it carbon?

  • it's carbon.

  • Fair enough.

Polished silver carbon fibre seatposts are a bit difficult to find.

  • Awesome bike, my dream offroader

  • Lookin good. Need to get the challenge tyres back on mine and get off the beaten track.
