No probz, gorgeous...
Smoktech Winder 1300mah battery...
Buy a few extra coil heads when you get the glassomiser, you'll save on postage... Each head only lasts about a fortnight... You may as well get a needle bottle too...

With all the tech you are buying, you must be spending more than when you were on tobacco Joe.
Another reason to pop down to Dulwich for a pint and to check out the vaporn.

Ha! You may be right, Jaygee...
The Triphammer liquid is lovely, really like it... Pisses all over the Foggy Dew stuff... Thanks for the tip, Butters!
Vaping the T&H Bronze atm, I'll try the Black Panther out tomorrow...

This seems like a pretty good starter kit at the moment:
Just add liquid. It might be worth specifying you want low resistance replacement heads as well. A variable volatge or variable wattage battery like this is a clear line of upgrade if you get on with it.
This is a pretty light kit. I used to have something similar to put in my jersey pocket on long rides and you wouldn't know it was there. Much lighter than a pump and probably not a lot more than a packet of fags and a lighter, but takes up way less space.
I pretty much did this, thanks for the heads up -

Or just take the plunge from somewhere like Triphammer / Mrs Lord & Co / Scope's Ejuice. I haven't tried Triphammer yet, but heard lots of good stuff and I really like the other two. Maybe start with a tobacco flavour.

Or the Suprem-e range on Cloud9 seems to be on a few good websites. Perhaps give that a shot.

The Triphammer juice gets a massive thumbs up from me...

• #291
Which flavours did you get in the end? I need to replenish my stash fairly soon.
-
• #292
T&H Bronze and Black Panther... Haven't tried the BP yet but the other one is lovely... Lots of vapour and great flavour...
-
• #293
Thanks. I'll get a bottle of that stuff in the order to try.

I ordered a 15ml Johnson Creek Original - Spiced Apple Cider 11mg with the starter kit.
Not sure if that was wise or not, but will head over to Triphammer if it sucks (no pun)
-
• #295
Had some Johnson Creek eliquid before and it was fairly good. I imagine that will be an apple and cinammon flavour.

kit came this morning with 2 fully charged batteries and is already up and running... joy!

I take it this battery is compatible with the included USB charger in the beginner's kit?
Also, any liquids that are not suitable for plastic cartomisers?
Finally, how often should I be looking to replace heads? Will it be obvious if battery is charged and cartomiser is full of juice?
(that is a carto right? not 100% on the lingo yet!)

Yep.
Also, any liquids that are not suitable for plastic cartomisers?
Yep. Usually lemon or cinnamon flavours. They will make the plastic go cloudy, then it will crack, and then it will leak. I haven't found a tank cracker yet and have a really strong lemon flavour juice and one that I think has cinnamon in.
Finally, how often should I be looking to replace heads? Will it be obvious if battery is charged and cartomiser is full of juice?
Probably once a week or so. Whenever the vapour production and or flavour is suffering. Don't throw the old ones away - look on YouTube how to recoil them. Wire and wick costs peanuts.

EvoDs are clearomisers - rebuildable (ish) ones.

thanks!
Johnson Creek spiced Apple Cider doesn't seem to produce thick high volume vapour... but tastes nice...

What resistance replacement heads did you get? If you managed to get lower resistance ones, they should produce more vapour. Lower resistance = more power. Higher voltage also = more power.
I think EvoDs come with either a 2.5 ohm or 1.8 ohm head and 2.5 ohm is going to need a variable voltage / wattage device in my opinion. The heads usually say what resistance they are on them in feint lettering.
I've got two Tabac BCC cartomisers to give away, used for a coupla days but I didn't really like them... All cleaned up, coil heads are practically new... Gimme a shout if you want them, no posting tho'...
