It's going to be tough to find anything decent for less than £5 per 10ml I think. Here are the liquids I am using at the moment:

This range is what I plan on trying next and they have quite a few tobacco flavours:

Kayfun lite plus on order as a new year treat. I've had a non variable machine (not sure of the make) since early in the year but I tend to only use it in the car and still go for the Drum and the silver Rizlas.
Hoping that robocock ownership will pull me over to ditch the fags entirely. To be honest is shouldn't be an issue anyway as I only really crave a smoke when drinking.
Real problem is my beloved titanium zippo. Been in my trouser pocket for a decade.

Thanks for the tips, Ben... The Triphammer liquids look interesting, let us know how you get on with them...
The only downside of the Mini Davide is having to fill the clearo with a needle, the three openings in the base are tiny... I've been using a syringe I got from my local chemist but the needle's too fine, anyone know a store where I can pick up a needle filling bottle? I'm gonna try my local craft shop today but any tips would be awesome... I don't really wanna spend £2.99 on P&P for a £1.20 item...

Zippos are awesome. Even for non smokers.
Less reason to carry it I guess.
Thinking of grabbing a vaping set-up. Mrs Smallfurry has a load of those E-cigs. I cant stand them. Currently chewing nicotene gum. Which isnt ideal. How much better are the liquid set-ups?

Lots. Even my relatively cheapo one is factors better than the pretend cigarette jobs you buy from newsagents.
It isn't smoking though - few things in life as nice as a well crafted halvzware rollup, but it's close enough that you'll live :-)

Kayfun lite plus on order as a new year treat.
I got one at christmas, as well as an Atmomixani Nemesis. It took about 5 builds to get it just right, but I think I've nailed it now. Using a micro coil and cotton that I boiled for half an hour.

Will do!

I bought these which I use all the time. Not so good for out and about though.
Two bottles for 2 quid seems reasonable:

eGo-T battery, Tabac BCC clearomizer, charger and your liquid of choice... Job done...
Or buy this kit and upgrade with two of the clearomisers from up there ^... The clearomisers that come with it are shit...
how large/heavy is this setup? also, some items are not in stock, and I'd like a 2nd smaller back up battery... any more suggestions?

This seems like a pretty good starter kit at the moment:
Just add liquid. It might be worth specifying you want low resistance replacement heads as well. A variable volatge or variable wattage battery like this is a clear line of upgrade if you get on with it.
This is a pretty light kit. I used to have something similar to put in my jersey pocket on long rides and you wouldn't know it was there. Much lighter than a pump and probably not a lot more than a packet of fags and a lighter, but takes up way less space.

thanks - looks good...how does it compare to the one you had at the triple whammy birthday? that was a right beast!

Robocock arrived. Kayfun lite plus built with teeniest battery;
Got the coil right on second attempt (poor light and bad eyesight doomed my first attempt). Running a 2mm microcoil over ecowool. AWESOME vape compared to my old system.
Really flavourful and a massive volume of vapour.
Zippo may be retired to firelighting duties :-)

I'd avoid the Tabac BCC and get an EvoD and a small Ego battery (just like that ^) if you want a portable set-up... The EvoD is quite a lot shorter than most clearos, it's got a smaller tank but it's a decent little unit... The only reason I've stopped using mine is cuz I like the Mini Davide so much...
Be prepared to carry spare batteries and liquid if you go down that road...
PS Needle bottle arrived today and refilling is now a joy...

Just ordered the 1300mah version of the Smoktech Winder, 3.2-4.8V... Think I'll order some of that Triphammer liquid, it works out quite a bit cheaper if you order the 30ml bottle and the reviews are pretty good...

i think we should all just take up actual smoking again. it's probably cheaper and a lot less hassle.

But my lungs feel so goooood now!
And you can use it in the pub...

On the nico gum myself.
Works well.
You need to soak it in spirits, and wrap it in tobacco to light it. But still....

Yes, yes you can.
Avoids that latest smoking-related disease - hypothermia.

TS, buying and mixing your own juice is so much cheaper. I have been using the VPG 6mg base from Inawera, and adding flavour, also from them.
Problem is the €20 minimum, and I'm sure they have put up their postage.
Does anybody in the UK have comparable products. I would prefer pre-mixed bases in reasonable volumes.
Oh, and in my experience, some pubs will ask you to stop vaping. Their right of admission policy covers any counter argument you might put forward.

Not sure about premixed bases but I've found this place to be good for mixing supplies http://www.cig-eliquid.co.uk/

Weatherspoons don't like you vaping in their pubs. TBH I go outside anyway as either my mates are there or you meet and chat to people you don't know.

I like it... #robocockjr
Really enjoying the Mini Davide clearo, pretty cheap at £12 and nice quality... It's a good smoke...
One thing I have noticed is that I'm going through liquid much quicker, even at a lower voltage... That's fine but I don't wanna keep forking out £5 for each 10ml bottle of Foggy Dew...
Any other liquid recommendations? I prefer tobacco flavours, EC liquids only please... Wanna buy bigger bottles and save some cash...
