  • Chain tensioners.

Surely that's what a **squash **or tennis ball is for?

As long as you can still roast it and stick it in a soup once your chain is set correctly.

  • What's a chain tensioner?

  • Paté is delicious... Nerged...

Heh. Google Mechanically Recovered Meat, (or these fillers they've been putting in burgers) then come back to me.

  • chain tensioners are just common sense

if you've got legs like mine

  • I actually don't understand people buying chopped onions.

  • ^ Yup. Or those jars of awful sour (presumably pickled) pre-sliced garlic or chillies. Garlic is not hard to slice.

I knew someone who started buying bottled water because they thought the tap water in Coventry was unsafe and the cause of their persistent dicky tummy. I suggested it might be because the person would reheat a huge vat of bolognaise sauce, eat a portion of it, freeze it, reheat it all, eat a portion and so on and so forth until the whole thing was consumed over the course of a week and about six freeze/reheat cycles. In fact, they were so stupid that I wouldn't be surprised if the cause of their illness was eating dog turds and chewing on tea-towels.

Speaking of bolognaise - tinned/jarred pasta sauce. Come on. It's so incredibly easy and simple and fast and cheap to make and it tastes far, far better. Same with packet custard... and those bottles of pancake mix! "Just add milk"? I don't understand. With bottled pancake mix you need two ingredients (pancake mix and milk). With real pancakes you need three ingredients, all of which you are likely to have in the kitchen anyway (flour, eggs and milk). It's hardly any quicker or easier, is it?

  • grated cheese

    and
