TLC,
Er, one last question. My buddy is coming down from Walthamstow, and having to do the kids' breakfasts etc, so we'll be late. I see it says starting from 8.30am... in your experience, until what time is it OK to be setting off... you know, to not end up all on your own, to still be part of the thing.
You can start as late as you'd like as its not a race - just be careful on the bits where there are loads of peds - eg floral street can't be taken faster than walking pace after 10.30am. Same with Rotherhithe high st.

I'm very well behaved and I'll share my ginger beer with you.

Greetings and Love to each and every one,
Well nearly there now. 15 pages and 733 replies to date on this thread, so that is a fair build up for the one and only London Classic.
I hope you all have a really great day out on Sunday.
Let us give thanks for the organisers and volunteers who put in such a magnificent effort to make this one of the best rides in London.
I'll see you out on the route.
'ALLEZ ALLEZ TEAM LFGSS'
Peace and Love,

I don't know anyone doing this ( I emailed all my 'friends' ) but I think I'm going to give it a go on gears. I will be rockin a massively uncool gt zr3000. It seems like a lot of fun.

Are they Italian's doing a traditional Roman salute or perhaps waving at a person in the distance?
The kid on the right isn't really trying

Just been told Vallance Road E2 is closed for resurfacing - not the end of the world but it means 2 pave sections knocked out - can anyone local verify how 'closed' it is please? Is it a case of a short dismount or can it still be ridden - albeit slowly?

That top one's by Camille Pissarro, isn't it?
Looking forward to this. Made the £15 charity donation after registering. Will check if I received an email confirmation, and print it off if so.
