has anyone spotted a specialized booth there? if so, are they selling their BG saddles there? i'm planning to go there tomorrow & buy their BG Romin Evo Expert saddle as i couldn't find any UK webshop that sells it.. any info will be appreciated..
There is no specialized stand there but you can buy that saddle online and in london shops.
Sigma sports in kingston stocks them, specialized shops and few others. -

I went yesterday good show plenty to see.
.You're off your rocker mate. Terrible show. Very few marques. Loads of stupid 'filler' stands (selling things I don't and will never want: e.g energy bars, 'jazzy' helmet concepts, and middle-aged-pannier-vibe Stephen Roche cycling holidays). And £20. Rip-off. I just voice these same opinions on their facebook and, of course, they deleted the comment. Literally one of the worst recreational experiences I've ever had. Feel like vomiting in my own hand.

I was there yesterday. I Didn't think that much of the show TBH.
The bike show was a bit underwhelming, the outdoor section was also disappointing
The main highlights were the trick demos and the nocturne.
I had a friend riding in the Cat3 (He punctured (As he chose to ride across London to get there so must have picked up a slow puncture on the way)). I did some slow motion videos on the last corner. I've got to edit it all together but here is one clip from the last corner...

Show was disappointing. I agree.
Very small area, very few interesting stands (too much crap and bike solicitors), no freebies (there were some in outdoor section and i got sample shewee there).
But then i was expecting that and went mainly to support friends racing there.
Race was fun to watch but had nothing of the atmosphere from smithfields market. -

By the time the elite race started most people had gone home.

Not as good as last year, was slightly disappointed, spent £2.50 on a bottle of coke!
nice bikes as usual though -

I went yesterday just to get out of the cold but any old shopping mall would have done the trick.

To be honest I wouldn't even bother going if I wasn't racing. The bike show was about the same experience, as a trip to Sigma Sport, for example.

^not quite as good
Last time i visited sigma sport i left with some freebies (energy gels and drink samples) and i didn't pay to get in.
Oh, and i found some 10£ assos gloves there on sale. Win. -

Had loads of fun with Cake trying to see how fast we could get the electric bikes to go round the corners on the track.
'Swiss mode' on the Go Cycles wins.

Enjoyed watching the races and seeing the bmx kids with their soft joints.
had an almost strange/stalker chat with foffa tyson.
I got some sample pearl izumi winter tights on the cheap, my conversation with a nice young man went like this.
"hi can i help you?"
"should i buy these?"
"um, how much are they? make it £25"
"i love you"
if you're on here, i love you. -

I got tons of freebies when I went!
Continental cap
Loads of stickers
Continental sweets mmmmmm
Signed stuff from Danny Mckaskil
Loads of water bottles
Free WD40 samples
Free legal cover
Got to try some bikes too, pitty I couldn't have ridden them with clipless pedals.
And the chat with Mr.Foffa -
• #121
did mr foffa ask you what your favourite colour was?
-
• #122
Mr Foffa sponsored track bike crit.
I cringed every time i heard "Foffa track bike criterium" from the speakers... -

Went yesterday and enjoyed it, wish there were more manufacturers with stands there but fun nevertheless. Fell in love with All City Cycles Lavender Big Block, love that colour for some reason. Not been to the Excel center in years, its like an airport in there!

Went to the show yesterday.
Highlights were Pinarello stand, Spin/Rotor stand (thehonestbob in full effect), the DMR pump track (didn't ride it though), less e-bike stands.
Walked past the Foffa stand and basically got physically cold-called, not even given the chance to get a word in, before being GIVEN the complete spiel about their ace bikes.

Results from track crit....
I really enjoyed the show. It has left me wanting a new bike though. Definitely much better than the NEC Cycle Show.
