Did i dream it or does Chan have a Timecat tattoo?
-
• #134
I so hope that's true. We used timecat on some mhbp flyers and I tried to use one on a trophy but had to make do with drawing one on a ball.

Does the winning region get a Timecat?

If you didn't have a team name we've given you one - if you don't like it, then let us know and we'll change it come the day. If you are unable to play, please inform us and try to get a replacement - we have a short list of reserves from both regions that are keen to play.
Accommodation will be a struggle but we can make it work - invites and offers will be coming out to all non-Manchester residents by the weekend. Anyone not catered for, or able to call on other accommodation, please let us know.
The format of the two days remains as posted - we will advise on the points system nearer the time. The (hopefully controversial) seeding for the Saturday rounds is as follows (informed by 5Gs recent spying mission):
- The Bloods
- Cherrypickers
- Sandbaggers
- 5G
- Supremos
- Bamphetamines
- Foreign Aid
- Hoodlums
- Steelers Wheel
- The Plague
- Fast'n'Furious
- Brickman's Skid Kids
- I Kurious

TIMINGS

After at Oddest on Wilbraham Road, ChorltonMatches start with 4 individual team rounds (to decide both the Bench and Sunday DE seeding) on Saturday morning at 1000 - please try and be courtside by 0945.
Saturday's Bench I should start at 1800 for 30 minutes and be between the top 4 teams from the day's rounds.
Saturday's Time Cat party will be in the cellars at The Nook on Wilbraham Road, Chorlton from 2030, with our very own Analog DJs.

The winning region will be decided by the aggregate individual team points accumulated via their overall rankings in the Double Elimination event (NB. Team goal difference from their 4 Saturday games will differentiate between tied teams on the Sunday), added to the region's performances in the two Bench matches.
Bench I (Saturday early evening) is between the top 4 teams from each region (ie. 12 players on each bench), as decided the league table on Saturday.
The Bench II Final will be played between the lower three teams from each region, as per the Saturday league table.
There will be a £15 per team entry fee to subsidise costs.
More small print and pedantic rules to follow as we make them up...

Right, we need the South to select both a Captain and a Vice Captain to manage their Bench teams et al - one needs to be from the upper half of the current seeding and the other from the lower half please.
Duties include being first to the bar; lead heckler; part bully - part-therapist; rabid dancing; last to leave the bar etc. A thick skin is advisable, along with a tictactical genius mindset; and the ability to give the hairdryer treatment when required.
The North will reveal their leadership dream team in due course....

As a southerner living up north and not picked for the north I'm up for subbing for a southern team if anyone pulls out
I played there once. It was very grippy indeed.
