  • "Fuck Yeah!" in Futura caps says i

  • Futura is a nice font.

Spotter & JB have been talking some reason into me, and spreading their anti-yellow propaganda (not like that). I am hopefully going to get the frame painted this week, and then the decals is something that will be added at a later date. Or not, depending on how it looks without them.

  • yellow with black parts looks boss. don't listen to jackjake

  • It will be dark (cobalt) blue, with yellow decals and black parts, unless that looks really wank.

    And I'm confident it won't.

  • if you're going for blue, go for light orange decals....

    rule of opposites etc..

  • Have you seen the colour orange!?

    Nah bru.

  • if you are going for a dark shade on the frame, choosing black parts is not the best decision in my opinion.

  • Yeah, I did consider that. I'm not really the best at colour-coordination, or Photoshop (see above), so I have no real way of knowing.

  • Also I can't get the wheels I wanted through work, as the Planet X price is so much lower than trade that it would lose the company money to price match it, so I'll have to order them direct.

  • What wheels?

  • RS30s in black

  • hmmmm that is a good price.

They're suprisingly heavy for such a low spoke count.

Look pretty similar to my Fulcrum 5's - and they're doing me proud.

  • I quite like the Fulcrums, but the RS30s are super cheap and have the Tester Seal of Approval©

  • Just on the decals, I actually think tommmmmmmmm running from the edge of the big ring all the way up the down tube in a Chubby type of font would look good. Especially satin black on shiny black. I'd the. Reverse it on the other side so the "m" is at the head tube end

  • ^^I'd feel a bit of a fanny having my own name, or a derivative of it, written on my own bike. I'd rather have Graham's.

^Not keen on that colour at all.

Considered charcoal grey, but that seems a bit passé nowadays.

  • Also, this is the sort of thing I had in mind, and it looks awesome:

Imagine that with bright yellow decals as well. Pow.

  • If only he did custom jobs :(

  • I'm now thinking about RAL 7016, Anthracite Grey.

Or RAL 7015, Slate grey. I think this shipping container illustrates how well that would go with yellow decals:

And I would like the distinction of owning one of the first bikes designed after a shipping container. I think both of these colours are pretty nice, and maybe a little lighter than the matt black/carbon colour which is becoming a bit ubiquitous.

    Thoughts?

  • Actually that container has the kind of digital square things I was considering as well. Is this fate?

  • you should write titan containers on it. and that graphic

  • that container is lovely, 20 TEU?

how about not a RAL, and do it in a metallic colour like "Steel 41"

    really is a lovely colour

  • Grey metallic paint is for cheap Giant Defys (Defies?)

  • Or old school steel. I have new school steel.

  • What wheels?

    RS30s in black
