went to order my quarq dfour yesterday, and saw a button on the power meter24 website saying ask us for the best price, so clicked it, awaiting a response but figure it's worth a go even if they only take the cost of postage off.

My Rotor LT crankset would not pair with my new Garmin. Changed the battery and the little yellow led did not come on. Now awaiting warranty to progress.
Anyone else any experience of this error? -

Is the battery in the right way around?

I couldn't get my Garmin to pair with my p2m when I first got it. I had to upgrade the Garmin software to a later version, so worth checking that you are running the latest version.

Which will obviously break something else...
-
• #8259
Of course. The words 'Garmin' and 'software' are unhappy bed fellows.
-
• #8261
Well that worked better than expected, £22 off and free postage!

24mm or 30mm axle? 110 or 130bcd?
This covers everything: https://www.powermeter24.com/de/quarq-sram-red-dzero-powermeter-1031

Ya the Dzero sram red makes the most sense. I think that's what team Katusha are all riding.

Where's cheapest for eTap?
-
• #8267
£1,730 for eTap with Quarq cranks, but need rings - 52/36.
Dura Ace or Red cassette? 11-28 would match the cranks for climbing/fatness.
-
• #8268
The red cassette is a thing of beauty.

DO IT DO IT DO IT
I am only lacking a Quarq on my Genesis. eTap fucking bangs.

I just bought another set of Rotor cranks. Bit cheaper than another PM.
I now have spare Rotor 155mm, 172.5mm, DA9000 165mm, S-Works 172.5mm, FSA somethings and let's not get into the MTB shite...
-
• #8273
But yes, that is good news.

155mm
wtf
If you can buy the arms separately then most likely, yes.
Actually... scrap that. Some seem to have a crank / spider interface like this:
And some like this:
But I guess the later is the BB30 type and the former GXP?
