• Sounds like you're going to have to give me your track pt...

  • Why you need bulky 800 for going around in circles? LYC ftw

  • The track powertap is on my commuter/training bike.

Do you have a spare LYC?

  • Actually strike that - the G3 isn't compatible with the Cervo.

Do you have a spare LYC?

    Nope. I use all mine.

I actually need another one since the mount snapped on a descent and dropped one onto the road it's missing half its crystals which makes intervals fun when you're trying to guess the duration.

If it's a G3 you'll need one of their newer head units - Joule or Joule 2. I didn't think they made G3 track hubs?

  • Well there you go.. I thought they only had the Pros out.

  • Looks like I could roll back to firmware release 2.4 for the 800, however I cannot find that - anyone got a copy knocking around?

  • Don't Garmin have a release history? lusers

  • That's just an update history I'm afraid- leads you to the web updater which puts the latest (2.7) firmware on your 800.

    I think I need 2.3.

  • Also, the Fenix 2 which I have ordered might be going back if it can't disable the auto-zero.

    You too?

So bloody jealous. So much want.

  • I may never open the packet!

  • Rolled back the firmware to 2.4, lets see if this works.

  • Yep, disable auto-zero option is now present.

  • Why...would they remove it? Why...?

  • So I can deliver an (indicated) 1,800 watts over Waterloo bridge?

  • Is that all? I was cresting 2200W on Uxbridge Road right before my diy fixiefixiefixie PT exploded in a shower of awesome.

  • The 1,800 watts was during a backward circle that I performed in front of a police car

  • How many watts would that be going forward?

  • At least a million

  • My 5 second max power is like 2500w according to training peaks.

Bloody powercal spikes. I have to get around to removing that one.

  • TrainingPeaks doesn't have a large enough scale to cater for my huge Watts.

Unfortunately the same applies to the KG one as well. #inbeforefat
