What.
-
• #128
Cranks, that is.
-
• #129
Yes, SRM are cranks.
-
• #130
You're a crank.
-
• #131
SRM powermeter on SRM crankset then?
-
• #132
Yes, SRM Octalink cranks with an SRM spider and an SRM head unit.
nuff srm blud?
-
• #133
Does it come with the wiring harness and the cable to connect to a PC?
-
• #134
Two wiring harnesses and all the other shit, even a manual and its last service receipt.
-
• #136
Is the spider for 130bcd or compact? Ta.

• #138
Ah, the famous Dr. Hauschka!

I find the #213 complements my skin pH rather well, although I do have to use their foundation sparingly when the weather turns humid.

Ok, road test this time: http://app.strava.com/activities/46812825#
PowerCal says average power was 184 watts, SRM says 197.5 watts for the entire ride- so much closer than the turbo session.
-
• #141
For the three laps of the park PowerCal says 198 watt average, SRM says 237.

This thread is making me reconsider my powermeter purchase! Although I'm looking at getting a quarq...
-
• #143
If I was purchasing a new powermeter I'd get the Rotor 3D+ Power2Max.
Which Quarq where you thinking about?
-
• #144
It's a Riken I believe. They look like this http://m974.photobucket.com/albumview/albums/rftcfan/Bike%20stuff/image5_zpsffbf8a71.jpeg.html?o=7 the guys local so it's just a case of going to have a looky. And I will get a 2 year warranty with them.
It's cheaper than the p2m, which if I wasn't buying 2nd hand I would go for.. -
• #145
Is it an Omnical model?
-
• #146
I dunno! It's an older model that's been upgraded to the new Riken system apparantly, so I guess it would be?
-
• #147
Pre-omnical you have to either send it back to Quarq or re-calibrate it yourself with Qalvin/dongle/iPhone if you change the rings.
Or, sometimes, after you have tightened the chainring bolts up.
=Omnical strikes me as a desirable feature.
Very worthwhile asking the seller about the zero offset- what is it at the start of a ride and (this is very important) what is it at the end?
-
• #148
Will do that. Thanks.. I tend to swap rings about a fair bit so if they aren't omnical I might have to keep looking...
-
• #149
The recommendation with Quarq's is to use steel chainring bolts torqued to 10Nm, and to use carbon fibre assembly paste between the rings and the spider.
Apparently this reduces the zero offset drift.
This is all Scobnowledge btw- from reading the Wattage forum on Google Groups, which if you are looking for a power meter I would strongly recommend that you take some time to look through.
Also, I got a cheap SRM from that list- there are often bargains.

Asked him and it's not. Looks like the search continues. Couldn't access the google thing unfortunately.
Guess I might just have to save up for the P2m!
Yes.
