I can't be arsed to shower everyday, it's cold and my commute is 1mile. If I need a shower I'll have one, when it's hot that's usually everyday. If I'm not doing anything for a few days I'll sometimes go for 3. Never had any complaints, including when I worked somewhere where stinky staff members were discussed in a team meeting, i was not one of them.

I'm not convinced I need it though. I've never had a sweat patch unless in the gym or on the bike and after a day sat at my desk I smell the same as when I left the flat in the morning.
