  • See you all tomorrow if you're at Green Park (sorry Oliver, list was annoying me).

  • If you honestly think Navardauskas did that on purpose, then I suggest you try hitting an object 3 inches square at 25 mph next time you're out on your bike.

Use the force navard, use the force.

  • Excellent day on Holme Moss

  • Voeckler giving it some Voeckler.

  • Fruit Shoot giving it some, er, fruit shoot.

  • I've got a lovely spot in finchingfield..... Slept in the camper under the windmill last night, and am sitting by the pond on the corner of the little bridge that people play chicken on. Dunwich dynamo riders will be pleased that they have resurfaced the road outside the fox inn!
I can see the descent into the village, and the climb out, and have a parapet to stand on :0)

  • Voeckler giving it some Voeckler.

Great picture. Wish I'd been able to take an SLR out with me but was carrying enough sandwiches, drinks extra layers as it was.

Brilliant weekend. Particularly enjoyed riding on closed roads to get out to Oxenhope yesterday and up ti Kidstones on Saturday.

Anybody else get absolutely bitten to shit by midges?

  • Then down to hebden to watch holme moss in the park and back home.

The Hebden park area was great, big cheers all round when Froome put that dig in at top of Jenkins.

  • ^^ +1 great pic, similarly would love to have been able to carry SLR

  • So who else is coming to Green Park?

Details on the "fan park" here: http://www.tourdefrancefanpark.co.uk/green-park-tour-de-france-fan-park-2014.html

Basically I'm hoping for a place in the shade, a big screen so I can watch the actual race, a place to lock the bike, a short ride home without being impacted by the carnage of London traffic with during road closures.

  • Anyone seen the announcement on the website?

Apparently you can't ride on the route once the roads are closed on this stage so you have to get to wherever you're watching without going on the route.

  • Not sure if we are allowed to ride the route or when its fully closed

I rode up to Epping this morning and the emphasis seems to be on clearing parked cars and blocking the entrance to the route from side roads or junctions Lots of people riding out and a few brave souls had already ( 8.00am ) taken up positions. Gazebos are sprouting .

Woodford's upped it's game since yesteday with amarked increase in bunting. Tents and stalls are apprearing on the green @ Whipps X.

  • Velocio, I've been to Green Park the last 2 days. Great vibe, great facilities but you might struggle for a convenient place to lock your bike. Just sit with it on the grass I reckon. The shade is under the tree, slightly to the left of the screen, as you look at it.

  • Have booked holiday off work; taking tube to green park #winning

  • I just got the OK for a half day from my boss, was gonna watch them ride past Limehouse but Green Park would be nice... Will you actually be able to see peloton go past from there?

  • Traffic didn't seem too bad heading into town this morning. I wish I was out there watching it somewhere. I shall have to make do with ITV4 in the offics

  • I actually rode some of the route this morning...
    buffs nails

  • About a mile of it...

  • In the wrong direction...

  • Were you in Lycra?

    Shudders.

  • In the wrong direction...

Rebel rebel, you've torn your dress.....

  • TS, nah you won't physically see them go past from green park, no. This is my dilemma, to stick with Green Park or battle the crowds on the mall. Probably Green Park for me.

    Shudders.

    Bitch, please...
