Right. I'm off to reflect on the volatility of world class athletes whilst supping beers and eating bbq food.

I think that's the angle, his shoulder was there too. Although his head was leading...
Eurosport just showed it from above and it was more shoulder than head.

Froome 6th on a sprint. Rarer than hens teeth?
-
• #539
Standard sprinting stuff screwed up when Coquard touched Gerrans bars on his left.
Shit happens.

Shit - seeing Kate up there, it's a good thing Sagan dind't win.

Be good if Prince Harry planted a podium kiss on Kittel.

If you actually watch a replay it was a fairly major push from Cav that pushed Gerrans into Coquard and everyone went down.
As much as I love Cav, I don't think it's standard sprinting stuff. It wouldn't happened if he hadn't barged so hard. He was too aggressive and took them out.
It's not like he doesn't have form on this either :/

No kisses.

A Tour without Cav is going to miss a lot of drama, damn,'hope he continues, doubt he will.
-
• #545
It is standard sprinting stuff, racing incident.
-
• #546
Maybe a racing incident but I don't think you can blame Coquard.
Was Thor Hushovd also a racing incident?
The UCI didn't think so.
-
• #547
I wasn't. Blame is a tricky thing in this kind of situation, it's a sprint, you have milliseconds to make decisions and are moving at high speed on a bike in close proximity to other riders and accidents happen.

I actually have thanks.
Not sure it was rougher than usual. And it's usually deemed legal.

Yes. And they did, they just deemed it an illegal one.

You do it to yourself you do...
If I can't win I'll take somebody out with me?
He should have bitten Gerrans shoulder for good measure.
I am disappoint.
