I recommend AUK membership. It's excellent value, and you get Arrivee magazine every couple of months, which is worth the fee by itself.

I've just renewed mine, but I'm dithering about whether I want to do Watership Down or not, ugh. Like YAL I'm a bit burned out from RF500 but the weather's been glorious since it ended and this is only 100km so it's not like it's a massive distance and it'd be nice to get the miles in. But then again it's reasonably hilly. Dither dither dither. Maybe I'll just enter and blow it off on the day if I really can't face it.

That said my legs felt heavy this morning on the commute.

Hopefully some swimming in the evenings will loosen them up, and provide a bit of a taper so that I can smash it along at the Audax approved 15mph for this.

Nothing on the route is over 250m. I did it with legs made of rubber 2 years ago, and I was ok, if a little wobbly over the last 10k or so.

I'll be entering this Audax for my January 100km and see if I can get beyond April this year for doing one a month (the weather scuppered me last year as my planned one was cancelled and no time to do a substitute).

I've not done this one before but cycled most of the roads at one time or another.

You also get an autofill feature on entry forms, and when you enter & finish a BRM 200, your name will appear in the handbook as a new 'Randonneur'.

Skully, I was just having a look at this. The only PITA is that the trains are not running out of L'pool St. - It is bus transfer to begin with. Only as far as Stratford, but still a pain - just a ride to and from Stratford to begin with and at the end of the day.

I'm still considering it, would train it from Stratford. Not sure if I'm ready for any hills (Watership Down) just yet.
