Had a few Zoids and some Dino-Riders too, a fairly comprehensive collection of Thundercats and tonnes of Lego, natch.
Also an InterCity 125 and the Flying Scotsman, requested during my sedate early teens.

This is such a boy thread. I bet you all had Barbies and Care Bears but just wont 'fess up.
You say boys thread but surely it's social conditioning that means girls that may have had an interest in this (piece of awesomeness):
is part of the reason there are so few females in engineering?
Trust me I wouldn't have yenzt'd any of the girls on my course- thats why all the bangers end up in the hipster thread.

I used to love these. Loads of really weird space aliens to collect too.

awesome Luci - forgotten about all that Britains stuff! were they made of lead from memory?
-

The early soldiers were, but the space series were made of plastic. The feet had disks on the that pressed into an alloy base to help them stand. I loved them, but I didn't know anyone else who had them!

My mum brought these back from a trip to Italy.
They're from the movie The Black Hole, and the figures were ace because the limbs were held together with magnets, so you could drag the arms and legs off and swap them around. Rare as rocking horse shit now, apparently. Fuck knows what I've done with them! -
