I'm guessing, I would also need a link cable for my tandem? At the very least lengthen main cable and shorten the straddle wire? They are Shimano AT50 cantilevers........or maybe get some frogglegs??
Beware! shorten the straddle wire will likely to create judders, as lengthened the straddle wire reduced the likelihood in the first place*.
*usually a problem with a long headtube creating a longer main cable.
IMHO despite how ugly mini v-brakes look, it's very useful on a tandem and easier to set up very powerful.

i have weighing up pros and cons........ the brakes work fine, i would say really well. no juddering or noise. if the main cable was to snap, the straddle wire is so long it would not interfere with the wheel and the tyre is not knobbly, so should not get caught........if it ain't broke, don't fix it........
