Looking at the bars online, and comparing to the picture above, it looks like he has shortened them. They are 740mm wide when fresh.

Can't decide what I prefer, flat bars or drops. Drops have that extra business-like / agressive look to them methinks, but flat bars give a better stance / position for me.

go for risers with drop extensions.
