I wondered why my map had a green fug on it

Does anyone know if new portal drops are done randomly or all in one go?
I sent a few suggestions, 2 got accepted and appeared at the same time.
I'm as still sending suggestions, but is it worth it?

They get done in batches I think.

How do I report a dodgy portal?
A new one was placed in Basildon, but it's not where the statue is, you have to go into Wilkinson and stand in the towel secion to reach it.
Not ideal.

I sent a suggestion to super ops for the same place, hopefully they will move it.

Go to the Ingress Map, top right hand corner select 'help' from the pull down menu.

A new window opens, go to 'contact us' in the top right and follow the instructions.

good job, I'm currently 7.25. Getting to 8 is going to take a while…

5.8ish here. Been a bit low on ammo and not moving round portal-dense areas.

ok just got my invite today..

Finally got my needlessly delayed invite.

Played 5 minutes. It loses where I am even with GPS enabled and Gmaps knowing exactly where I am, after 20-30 seconds and then there's no way of moving the map around so you're permanently lost.
Then I have to restart the app close the app, uninstall it, go outside and do something interesting with a sense of purpose.

Not impressed ;(

Use two fingers on the screen to rotate it and pinch to zoom. It will only show your local area.

Check you have GPS actually on, and the Wi-Fi location assist; The game doesn't insist on it, although Google Maps would prompt you to re-enable satellites.

How's everyone doing?
I am getting increasingly bored of it. Living outside of London, portals are few and far between, do leveling is a slow, arduous process. Currently I and lvl 3, about 15k off lvl4 estimated it wil take me forever to get to 8.

Almost L7. Low on available time and ammo but using IITC to identify high-value weak targets got me the best time:AP ratio.

I used this game all of once. Turned it on, put it in my pocket and cycled around. Looked at it later and it hadn't picked up a single thing. Haven't opened it since.

Well duh, you can't play the game by putting it in your pocket and not playing it, you have to actually interact with the interface.

I'm about a third of the way to level 5 now, being out of Central London certainly slows things, but submitting new portals to them (which the latest version of the app allows you to do from in it) is a good way to get new ones near you.

Churches, Local Government buildings, statues, pubs, notable places, all of these are good things to add in to help get your local set of portals increased

How do you suggest from in app?
I used to snap landmarks, and share via niantic super ops.
