And I'm getting a little frustrated with portals that are set out of reach. I need to do some digging on faking your gps position I think...

Personal invites won't happen until it's out of Beta. They need to to be invited directly by the game.

You can upload local landmarks via the game itself. Take a picture, share via Niantic and send the e-mail.

Do you mean they're too far to travel or that they're unreachable when you get there? Some of the Manchester portals have been adjusted so their position is where the pictured object actually is but I'm not sure how to go about requesting such a review.

Unreachable when you get there, for example theres one here - http://goo.gl/maps/irphC (at [URL="https://maps.google.co.uk/#"][/URL]Streatham Water Works) where it's inside the fence. You can't actually hit 2 of the resonators on it, and 2 only get caught, as they are too far away from the road, meaning its permenantly smurfed.

What level bursters are you using? The higher the level the further the range they have.

Was about 100AP off after some commuto-hacks but the latest updates reward recharging (inc remote) and upgrading portals.

Sadly, I work in a low-XM area, so I can't keep the portals I have keys for safe all day.

I got mullered by the smurf portal on my commute, its got 4 lvl2 resonators and 4 lvl 3.
Need to plan a tour of portals ride and get some AP up.

Off to hack Brighton, getting very close to Lv 7 now! ^_^

my 2 have appeared, got one this morn, the other is nowhere near where i am going this weekend.
hopefully it will still be avail come monday, my commute will now involve a 12.5% climb to get to it.

Managed to pick up both new portals in my town.
One is pretty close to an existing one, but not close enough to link.
Need to work on upgrading one to reach the other.
Also didn't get a key for one of the new ones, going to have to go home via it to have another crack.

Linked 2, need to level up so I can reach the 3rd portal.
The problem I have is only 1 smurf portal around to hack for AP.
I need about 500 to go to lvl2

A few days of recharging your little green men's portals might give you a few hundred. Keep hold of you snot-portal keys so you can recharge them remotely.

got 3 of 4 keys, ironically the only one missing is a portal i own! (used it linking to a local one)
Be going to it tomorrow morn for an AM hack.
Seriously considering adding another 25minutes to my commute to ge them all in! haha!
My biggest issue is there is very limited XM in my workzone, i can usually get enough on my ride in to hack the smurf one, and recharge 1 bogey.
