Is american the same as mid?! saints be praised i can get some real cranks!

Yes. I was going to link you them the other day but thought you were sorted. I think winstanleys stock them can't recall. Just google mid to euro innit.
-
• #63
They were 16 at winstanleys but not sure if postage is free. Probably best to go with crc.

I saw the Winstanley one, but they're site is bloody awful, I wasted 10 minutes trying to create an account yesterday with no success.
the question is now that problem is solved what cranks do i actually get? i'm tempted to get some more sram s300's but i've hear they practically weld on the chainring now -

I'm getting 3 piece bmx style ones as I think they look bad ass. Any idea if Tokyo fixedstill have those Reynolds 853 3 piece in stock? They were selling them off cheap before...
-
• #67
Those on one cranks are fugly. If you're going down that route just get a discount code for crc and order s300 from them.

No, USA BB is much bigger. Mid used to be USA BBs with alu cups to alow for different size cartridge bearings for 22mm and 19mm spindles but then frame companies started producing smaller BB shells for pressfit bearings e.g Mid and spanish BBs.
Basically if your frame is USA BB you can use the wonder cups to make it Euro/English thread, if it's Mid you'll have to use a Mid BB
That post was probably longer than it needed to be

Truvativ converter is definitely mid to euro. Are you sure its us Spatr?
I think profile are the only people who make one that big. Tree make a Steel spline drive which is cheap but i'm pretty sure it only goes up to 33t.
