  • So much awesome, risers look boss actually

  • That looks mean as hell!

    You using a quill-ahead adapter?

I love yellow bikes, and modern parts/classic steel frame, but that is a beauty of the genre, nice job mate.

Cheers yo, they change the ride so much in comparison to the drops

Again, thanks! Yeah man, adapters are a bit anti, but I just rode to Brrrrixton and back and was caning it out of the lights wherever I could, couldn't tell the difference, and felt super stiff...stiffer than quill, maybe not as stiff as 1 1/8" though... small differences...

  • But with the CK headset, you still get bonus HHSB points, so wouldn't worry! ;)

Just marker the adapter black where it shows through stem and hey presto, if you don't take a good look, it looks a bit like a normal ahead set and couple of spacers.

  • Looks amazing - loving the s&m style drops

jealous of how fast it came together!

Where did you get your omniums? Using a sugino ring on them?

Thanks dude, I had all the parts man, pulled them of the Dodici Gara..

Had the Omnonmonoms too... got them from Condor at the start of this year...and no, standard Truvativ ring that they ship them with (48t)

  • so whats happening to the dodici?

  • Cool, i thought that they alway came with that greyish ring - it must have changed since last year.

Think i'm still i'm going to go with a fibrelyte aero chainring

  • so whats happening to the dodici?

its not talking to me at the moment. sitting there, naked, alone.

Jokes aside, was thinking of selling it, but I'm not going to take a £ hit because of the dent, and I won't ever find a similar sized Alu track frame, so I'm keeping it. Will build it up again at some point, probably when I decide to put the Campag Pista parts back on this. not soon though.

  • So. Much. Want.

That's all, really (but in midget size, please).

  • Don't you dare touch the Peloton! (saw what you wrote in CP!)

  • Since the NJS wheels aren't happening (at the moment - set I was looking at are 110 rear spacing and it's too much hassle to swap) I need something else to do with it.

Next month I might actually get it track dropped up again, actually.

  • Fire at will... :)

    great picture, great bike!

  • Now that is tasty! And great pictures too.

  • This coming out for the Guinness ride?

Wouldn't mind seeing how it sizes up seeing as we're the same height.

  • yes it is... :)

not sure if that's a good idea or not although I managed well yesterday and didn't fall over (others did)
