150GBP - that includes postage & a little extra for the glitter clear coat that you can't really see in that photo but looks quite nice in real life.

May I ask how long it took for it to be delivered? I am contemplating buying one of these for next year's project. -

Was quoted 5-6 weeks but I think it actually arrived between 7-8, uses a decent courier though which was a pleasant surprise.

Too much spacers but I'm finaly happy with the build:
That's perfect.
Gotta get some cash together and get myself one of these, so nice.

Thanks man, your final build is cool. I'm doing something similar (hopefully)... Winter sledz that I can throw around in the snows

Hi! I live in Ukraine, Dnepropetrovsk. Before ordering a frame in Poland a lot of reading this forum thread and learned a lot of information, in the end I want to present my bike.
Welded on my geometry, painting the two-component automotive paint, varnish in 4 layers. Ordered with polished welds, but had to bring to perfection itself.
In the end, very pleased with the work and get a lot of fun) -

Stunning, without knowing its a mielec I'd struggle to guess. Love the paintwork too. Chapeau

Hi, i just bought my mielec and have a few issues with it, first integrated headset is too deep, destroys my fork and wont spin at all i have 45/45 fsa headset, second is that the spider of omniums hit the chainstay badly would need to cut halfway through the stay for decent clearance, and last is that i can only get seatpost in about 5cm no more - would destroy the seatpost... bike is size L from the table - mash copy
-
• #3868
you need a spacer on top of the compression ring to fix the headset.
others seem to be using omniums fine, have they forgotten to crimp chainstay a bit?
sloppy welding on the stays or top tube. take a file to the inside of the seat tube where the welds are.
Tell mielec their build and quality control are shit.

Mine worked fine with omniums, no crimping.
You can always just chuck a spacer on. -
• #3870
With the headset, i am more worried about fork side, the frame goes in the fork, like there is no crown race but there is and its proper for sure. for the omniums i would need at least 4-5 mm spacer. Already mailed them and waiting for response. Thanks for quick answers.

My integrated headset is also 'real deep' but works perfect with my 3T Funda Pro - no rubbing and no gap either. Looks awesome. But I guess you could have issues with other forks.
I also run Omniums but I have good chainstay clearance -

roe, have you fitted the bottom bracket?
-
• #3873
yes i did, i will post some pics tomorrow, now im off to work

what headsets work for the mielec?

I emailed him on Wednesday with a photo of rak500's bike and he came back after a couple of hours with the following:
The price for such frame with smooth welds and traditional head tube is 150pounds.
I send you a photo with our new dropouts -it's cost +20pounds.
So looks like £170 all in, although I have just gone back to double check about head tube because I'd prefer an integrated 45/45 headset.
Looking good!
matching wheels would be nice though ;)
