Bob Jackson is cheapest for repaints and supposed to be good.
But it's still going to be £100 for paint, then decals etc. it will never be cheap alas.
Touchups can be done in car garages depending on how poor the paint state is. But even that can be risky value wise.
If you email pelizolliworld they can help with dating etc. and if it had a decal very friendly guys.

I've got to add my voice to the haters I'm afraid, you took a rare and beautiful frame and repainted it removing it's history and replacing it with a fake one, stickers and all and that to me is a little bit sad. Yes it's your frame, your money and all that but I think as collectors, users and enthusiasts of vintage frames we have a collective responsibility to keep things as close to how they were designed as possible unless it was beyond repair which this frame wasn't. I would have gladly bought the frame but wasn't in a position to at the time but I wouldn't entertain the idea of buying this frame now. Just a shame that's all and the fact that you won't even ride it because it is the wrong size for you just adds more tragedy IMHO

Your voice is noted and hate is a strong word.
Not sure the history is in the paint. How can paint be fake, paint is paint.no one is pretending here, bike is still as designed , same metal, same geo, just different paint.
Still the same bike.
I sold it to a friend and he's using it, so no tragedy.just a bike getting use in a different colour. -

Not hatred of you as a person, but hate for the puppy killing/situation, glad someone is getting some use of the frame. I hope they enjoy it.
I'm not sure it had a Columbus decal originally.
I know what you mean about certain paint shops but £350 and upwards for a £215 frame didn't compute.Im not sure from what I've read on other threads that it always gives you 3x a better job either.
