Any suggestions on where we can have a Christmas bash... last Nov, early Dec?
What sort of capacity? I know a v nice pub nr London Bridge that is quiet at the weekend but has a space/decent sized room that is FREE and clincher being the space has access to a good sized beer garden so instance bike park! And they are happy for dj action as I played for about 6 hrs there last year. Will double check name and get back you if the above sounds ok?

I had a good time although v brief. VB well done on manning the lack-of-decks. Arrived to 95% random punters filling the dance floor. Was confused.
6pt what time were you turned away? Was it lack of age id?

Is that the Horseshoe, Elaine?

Wow, really? Shit got pretty hectic at the London Open after-party and none of the bouncers bothered us... :)
Nicely understated.

Scoot......you were drunk as a foetus man, your head must be bumpin' today.

There are a few pubs on north side of the river in the City that will open for parties at the weekend. There's one on the river under Cannon St stn with a terrace whose name I forget.

^^ I know right! I was drinking from 4pm until 1.30am, that's nearly 10 hours solid of boozing! I felt rough this morning but it was nothing some breakfast burritos and painkillers didn't sort out.

Breakfast burritos.....you're already ahead of the game!

I have one hell of a cold today. Perhaps I shouldn't have insisted on riding home when I was offered the lift... but the ride was lovely. There's something magical about riding in the rain at night. Paying for it today though. Snot factory.

I woke up with what felt like a vicious throat infection; nearly went to the doctor for the first time in about 15 years. Tyrozets and Lion bar ice cream for breakfast sorted me out though. Followed by beer (thanks Dimi!) and bike shorts.
Shame we missed the party; will bring appropriate identification to the Christmas one :l gws David, good work on the marathon djing.

Is that the Horseshoe, Elaine?
Yes! Horseshoe in LB, not Clerkenwell. Think you can actually get free run of the place on a sat night if you can get enough people in.

It's a good pub.

Good effort DK! Totally random punters did at least make it less of a sausage-party. I suddenly upped and left- knowing I had to be at a new client's job at 9.30am which put a dampener on it for me. Nottomentionthefuckingpouringrain.

the barrowboy&banker on london bridge can be hired at weekends too, been to some goth nights there so they don't mind a bit of mosh pit action... bike locking is the railings in front or the bike stands across the junction though.

J Mack Vs Indian couple was the highlight for me.
My apologies to anyone who witnessed me taking the piss out of that guy's accent.
Took me 3 hours to get home on the night bus, should have stayed out later.

Did anbody acquire my missing LCEF hoodie? I know I left it somewhere this weekend...

i missed this, do tell -

I didn't catch all of it but the general gist was that Indian couple got upset, pissed Mack off, Mack slapped their drinks out of their hands. Indian guy acted all incredulous and demanded Mack buy more drinks, but when I say demanded, I mean politely requested, as though trying to guilt trip a guy who just smacked your drinks out of your hands would totally work...

Also, none of that may be true. Alcohol had been consumed.
That was pretty funny. I think that was when I realised I had to leave. The 0.00005s mosh pit was awesome though.
