fantastic super sunday everyone, really enjoyed it.
The Killer Bees lost today, but i felt like it was our most gelled team performance. Joe and Sean popping their scoring cherries. Jakub also (can't remember) but really solid performance everytime i was watching from the side lines against a really solid and strong attacking team. Bells you were brilliant today, Ryan as always, Ed its no nonsense and i love it and Jordan harried and harried. Peter. Get the proper equipment then we'll talk :)

On the subject of GREEN, I feel like our performance on Wednesday night was the most considered and thorough of any team I've played for. We managed to hold a level of composure and concentration, over the hour-long fixture, that I haven't seen out of any of the players before, or myself. I'm loving playing/drinking/hanging with these guys and that's what this league is all about!

I might not have played with any of these guys at any point and I certainly wouldn't have actively tried to help them with their game – and in turn, get help on mine – unless we had stumbled onto the same team in League V. Everything we are learning can be taken away and applied to future teams that we all end up on, thus spreading the knowledge and upping the level of LPC polo.

Loving the dynamic of the league this year over last year. Thanks for letting me play again, organisers.

Best bit today was hearing Jakub call me to pass the ball, him sitting in a prime position for a shot on goal. He has totally stepped it up since we first played. I can't wait for the next game, really buzzing after today.

Also, is there any point in having a half-time swapover at Hackney Downs? The other courts I can understand (Newington slopes a bit and the ball is more likely to go out at one end; Mitch you can only sub in at one end (?)) but Downs is flat, there's no difference between the ends, and the entry gates for subbing in are at equal points on the court. Seemed a bit unnecessary for yesterdays games. IMHO. Just saying, etc.
