Right, coming soon, NJS Cuntgoslo Corima...
-

Saw it last night. Lovely. Made me get nostalgic when I first built mine up and all the paint was fresh.
52x19! You'll destroy your knees on that GI brakless
-
• #379
Naaaaa man its such an easy gear. 72GI. Lower than 48x17 which is what I currently have on Leader.
-
• #380
Eh? I agree, 52/19 is pretty easy going...
-
• #381
Just me then...
-
• #382
...though I challenge you to get up Ditchling on that GI.
-
• #383
Ha... Tried that before.... Not sure if it was the gear, the porteur bars, the 2 1/2 hours sleep or the hangover that stopped me...

Looking good, get filing those axles!
And Tom, yes it's fine to do, probably best to just file one side though, in fact one of my 7600 have a flat spot on the axle..
-
• #386
Yup, but you only need to file the width of the dropout. Like that means the nut has less thread to grip too. Though it's no biggie.

• #387
can we get another pic of this bike in rideable state??
-
• #388
Yeah will take one shortly.
-
• #389
I know the saddle angle is Completely bodged, I've not had time to sort it properly. Single bolt clamps suck.
Not as bad as it looks anyway.
-
• #390
I feel for your balls.
-
• #391
What are they?
The only problem I had was sliding backwards. Luckily I always wear pads when cycling.
-
• #392
is that too much seatpost showing? or is the frame tiny and you have huge hands?
does it need the tt protector with those bars?
-
• #393
Neither of those?
I do, the bars hit the TT of they swing around.
-
• #394
Could probably be lowered a tiny bit to be fair anyway.

i will try to resist asking if it fits

A lovely frame.
I don't understand why all the cogs are so massive? More teeth than tiger (shark).

It fits.

Thanks joe. And because I think it looks cool ;-) but I would to take it on the track and I think 52 up front gives you more versatility for a proper track ratio.

• #398
It fits until you have a bike fit.

Whilst nearly every component of this bike is ever so lovely - it just doesn't do it for me.
Maybe it's the big wheels and chainring on such a small bike
Or maybe it just needs a decent photo/finished setup

All of this.
Yeah same, no filing of the frame. Especially as my fork ends and dropouts are chromed. Assuming yours are too Tom. I filed both sides of the rear axle, but that's because I had no other option, probably could've got away with just filing the one side on the front axle though, did both without thinking.
