Lovely looking frame dude.
Makes me want to shout Mornington Crescent! Showing my age.
Trumpington's variation maybe? https://www.lfgss.com/thread53703.html

even though i doubt its a crescent, i am very much looking forward to seeing this built up
Another swede here. As far as I know, Crescent and Monark are two separate brands. According to http://www.monark.se/ they have the same owner though, including DBS, which explains the other frame upthread.
Never seen a swedish track bike before either, so if it's a re-badged Zeus that kinda makes sense
I do to now, but I'm unsure what it is, its definitely got a 26.2 seatpost so it doesn't look like its a Zeus. You never know though, would be lovely if it is Zeus.
FYI it wont fit without eyelets (mudguard eyelets behind the dropouts might do) and brake bolt hole.
I have an entire engineering dept. to call on so adaptors aren't a problem if they need to be made. I'm also looking to see if i can get a good price on a V/O rack.

Anyway I'll take some photos of the frame shortly, suffice to say its every as bit as nice as I expected.
Really not a fan of the colour though so I'm going to try and get to the paint shop after work tomorrow to discuss options.
The seatpost I have with the black shim looks gash though. So I just bought this, nice 3TTT seatpost:a couple of scratches, but nothing I can't handle.
Also Going to order a Dia-Compe headset, I've got one on Jose and its been fine, so It'll be perfect for this.
along with a 111mm Campagnolo Veloce Bottom Bracket, which gave a perfect chainline on my lo-bro:

The forks have been drilled
as you can see the current paint has a bit of a sparkle in it, looks alright in small doses but on the whole bike it just looks naff

Did some more googling and found this thread in case you haven't seen it:

Loads of info, but no definitive ID. Though the last post hints about it, but the link is broken...

I really like that colour.

don't care about the pain, the crucial thing is, will it work with spotter bars?

That looks to be same maker for sure, 26.2 seatpost, zeus dropouts and the same lugs & crown.
If only that last link worked!I really like that colour.
I'll scrape it off and send you the sweepings. I'm with nuno on blue (at least in this case)

I don't know yet, I'm going to have to wait for the new shipment

I think that blue to metallic grey fadez would look fuckiing incredible.

Saddle, BB and headset came today. I'm taking a punt on the saddle front, bought a non-brooks leather saddle.
Quality looks to be good, but its as hard as nails. I think my bum might have been spoiled with the thinner leather of my B17 champion special. A few coats of neatsfoot oil will happen before I ride it I think.
Once I get the seatpost I've got everything I need (baring the rack) to build it as a functioning bike. So i might build up to see how I like it before I take it off to be painted. -

I've also taken a punt on the saddle front - got a purple Colt on the Argos. I'm going shouty with this build. Uncomfortable as an evening spent with Norman Lamont still, but it looks the fluoro-part.
-
• #68
I very nearly bought a colt, if this goes tits up I might get a swift.
-
• #69
If you like the colt, try the team pro. My rear goes really well with them, but didn't like the swift at all

The coolest thing about that rack ^is that you can hang panniers on it under the platform. That's good thinking.

I will be getting a nice big wine box too, my local wine dealers said they give them away so thats perfect. I just need to engineer a nice way of attaching it. I will also build a light mount.

Needs Nitto moustache bars.
(spotter, bars, lol, etc)

This is how well Swedes and moustaches go together:
