  • Quick test fit..

Got a DA threaded headset and a ti quill to go with...coming soon.

  • Nice

  • Nearly finish then?

  • progress with road donohue, dropped it off at Woodrup to be cabled as I'm lazy... Rolled to the end of the drive on it and initially feels like it should fit nicely.

  • I really like that matchy dark grey. Any of it ti?

  • stem and post are ti, goes nicely with the finish of the DA.

Already thinking about wheels for the future, I don't know if the DT swiss on there really work... may price up silver archetypes 28h on low flange novatech or similar later in the year when I'm less skint.

  • Have you taken those steel forks off the fixie yet?

  • never got round to building it with them, putting the woundups back on for now.

  • I don't know why, but I thought you were going with threadless forks.

  • yeah that was the original plan but couldn't get the steerer extened for ahead use and decided to keep the ahead woundups on the fixed for using with the various bar setups I have for that...

Also, front end is quite low on the road build so quill gives a bit more stack without having spacers.

If I hadn't already bought the nitto bars, I would have gone with ahead on this and used a modern stem & os bars.

  • however... forgot BN was holding these for me. Should be quite amazing/awful but yeah, blue ano ftw...

  • Should be running these as they match better

  • Matching ain't the aim of this game...

Fancy selling me the forks? Seeing how you beat me to them when nutsjesmoar first posted them up ;)

  • sorry but the only delay has been getting the threads extended, which I will get round to soon. Having had a back injury and not riding it at all I've not been motivated to sort them out, but I want the steel fork / quill setup for summer salving.

  • Got ya. Let me know if you change your mind, they'll look much nicer on my frame!

  • With charm like that you'll go far in life, you don't need these forks!

  • At last! Rides great, this has turned out well (:

So responsive, accelerates really well, quite stiff at the back may need to go down the archetype + 25mm tyre to get a bit more comfort, may try a carbon post as well. Overall though well chuffed, thanks to everyone on 'ere that provided a part for it...

  • Looks great, nice work. Just needs real pedals.

Mine is about to get new shifter cables and bar tape. Having the Genesis set up properly with compressionless housing made me realise how much better the shifting should be. The frames are great, PD is genius.

  • awesome looking bike!

  • no blue wheels? :( It does look really nice though.

  • Looks so goood, you gonna get road pedals?

  • Cheers kerob, no blue wheels as yet not got much spare cash at the minute and prioritising getting some speedplays, just trying to get some without paying full whack...

Got some dura ace spd in the meantime but took the photo whilst out running errands Ollie.

  • Finally got this back in action, been neglecting fixed this year need to get on it.

  • nice ATACs!
