Road frame getting picked up tomorrow, not I just have to find another pair of nice carbon forks, with 1" steerer and plenty of it... Anyone going to make my life easy?

Thanks for reminding.
Boardman should be HHSBoardman, ask Dammit how :)It's more BadWeatherMan to be honest.

I've had similar knee issues, I think from poor cleat positioning. Going to see a physio on Friday.

Columbus Minimal for that custom look, you know it'll make sense.

Matching tribals.... Lolz
Horatio is selling me his Ouzos, which should look decent with the os dowbmntube.
-
• #486
Rad, think those forks are pretty light as far as 1" carbon forks go.
-
• #487
you changing, selling and buying parts/frames like others their pants, jesus.
those bartape looks just shit. sorry. -
• #488
Ouzos were good enough for Dario, so they'd be good enough for me. They'll look at least as good as the Minimals as well.

What you on about Sven? Did you ever hear the expression "pot calling the kettle black"...
-
• #490
To be fair on Sven, he did start with an idea rather than a bicycle and try out every single position imaginable to see how it is.
World most expensive bike fitting that is.
-
• #491
Ed, you know...
The road to perfection is always under construction...
Eingang has a new fancy every couple of months that he burns €1000s on... This entire bike cost the same as his commuter's frame.
-
• #492
I do know, but since from page 1, it's the same set-up that's more or less 10mm shorter/longer.
It's very Rebecca Black trying to decided where to sit.
-
• #493
Ah who cares Ed?
I had a seta and sold it, then 5 or 6 frames in between buying another seta, I love it no matter how stupid it looks to everyone else.
-
• #494
The position remains constant as that is what I find comfortable, if anything this shows that my bikes tend to fit?
This hasn't been a journey of fit, but of materials and components....
It is now the best materials and best quality/most durable components I've had.
-
• #495
TM, now it seems you're relatively happy with this bike, what would need to come along for you to upgrade?
-
• #496
I couldn't say... This is a balance somewhere between the MASH, the Orlowski and the Sirius... 3 totally different frames, with different characteristics. This feels like it takes the best of each and combines them into one, which is what I've been looking for...
I would like to build up a classic track frame again, but I don't have space. I guess 3 very different fixed bikes is enough really.
-
• #497
Or sod it all and get a custom frame that fit exactly how you want it? genuine question.
-
• #498
Apart from the fashionable sloping top tube, not sure how different a custom frame would be from this.
-
• #499
To make it fit how exactly you want it to ride and behave? what part do you not like about the Doh?
-
• #500
Nothing! That's why I've stopped thinking about going custom.
Well, aside from the tatty paint, but think I might get this and the road frame painted in opposites... Fixed, pearl white with dark metallic purple logos (much as it is currently just classier), road frame done dark purple with white logos....
Thanks for reminding.
