I find them too big these pedals. I prefer the child model bmx (finer to take sharped angles in downhill rides.)
blb may be les grippy but well finished.
for the cockpit I would have put this and a Nitto riser
seeking a photo of the child pedals I fell on it.Départ des "Roule Toujours" on Vimeo

Je suis avec Gaston on this one, the pedals are the only bits I'm not struck on.
Also think it looks best with the Integralters. Seriously, the minute you're bored of this bike...

Then he will trade it for my Mapei.

It's got atacs on at the minute, can't beat restraps/v8s though for cruising.
The RB010s suit me better, Integralters look da bomb though.
I reckon the future of this bike is a quality respray complete with Donohue decals.... Can't see why I'd get bored of it Tommmmm.... It's been a journey getting to this point!

If the Mapei were to replace anything it wouldn't be this anyway....

Past form says you may tire of it, I am living in hope.

Still got the Boardman and the Condor though don't I? (;
My plan had been to get a nice custom steel frame built, don't see the point now though. This ticks all the boxes.

Would blue ano Sugino 75s ruin this?

• #463

I have these flashes of brilliance at times, but I have to check... As sometimes the flashes ain't so brilliant.

Have been running atacs again, although knee still playing up. Cut down bars a little to 57cm, applied eBay bargain tape (around £1.60 - didn't even have adhesive on the back)
Got a 17 degree stem coming, at the moment if the bars spin the stem hits the top tube, would rather the taped bars hit first, don't want to cut steerer down as need it that length for running bulls/drops, so figured a steeper stem would sort that, ad should line up better with the top tube....
Put the layback back on as inline is too far forwards for the risers, got a ti post coming from apollo, going to run an inline and an SLR with the bulls.

whats up with your knee?

Probably from changing the part one time too many*.
*I know, I know, pot kettle black.

whats up with your knee?
Did loads of miles this year in ill fitting SPD shoes with flexy soles, I think my left heel was rolling out a little bit, and this has caused a build up of a lot of tension.
Been bad for a couple of months now, barely been riding. I should;ve done so sooner, but I've retrieved my roller from my mum's house...
and have started working on my IT band. If it doesn't sort it in a couple of weeks I'll give in and go to the GP.
In other news, if all goes well I may have found a sister for Donobru...

Road frame getting picked up tomorrow, not I just have to find another pair of nice carbon forks, with 1" steerer and plenty of it... Anyone going to make my life easy?

You can sell the rest of your skinny wheeled bikes now, you'll never look back. Keep Corima too.
-
• #472
Condor ain't going nowhere....
Might sell the Mercian that I haven't built up yet... Not sure.
-
• #473
sell me the sirius
-
• #474
Lost track of what bikes you got, forgot you had that too. Condor should go back to track duties.

sell me the sirius
You've got enough bikes as it is, and I'll only sell the Sirius for profit.
Lost track of what bikes you got, forgot you had that too. Condor should go back to track duties.
Condor
Donohue
Corima
Dolan road bike
Boardman
Hetchinsare the "skinny wheeled" ones... couple of frames laying around.
Does look best with integralters, wanted to have a riser setup, bulls setup and drops setup though to change between. Had some plastic risers lined up too which was the final piece, but they haven't arrived.
