New caps. This seasons cap.

It's all about new season caps.

Yeah the caps are great but i don't wear them I like patching up my bag so i just thought maybe other people would like one. But the bottle opener sounds cool. I just want something to get the forums community tho get to know each other a bit better ya know.
I'd like to know what other people would like made.

DanniLindsey, Velocio is under no obligation to make anything. He runs LFGSS and runs it well and it seems to take up a lot of his time.

If you want patches then go ahead and make some patches, I'm sure that they would sell like hot cakes on here. I think it's cool idea. £5 and give 50p to the forum and keep 50p for yourself then £4 shout cover the costs (all speculation) but there is not a company behind the forum that is obliged to do it for you....

I was just pitching an idea out there i didn't mean that he had to make them. I wanted to start a list and see how many people wanted them as he said that if there was enough people he'd make them is all. If not I'm sure i can always just get myself one made.

I had a spare minute, so decided to get a vague idea of what prices we would be looking at, so I contacted these guys and asked for a quote for a run of 100 of the design below.

I will of course come back here as soon as I get a reply.

For the record, I'm not planning - or really able - to get it organised, but this is just to give a vague idea of prices.

Please don't butcher the logo, or stick the .com on it.

Just use the logo as is, with that aspect ratio. In those colours... or don't use the logo or colours in any way whatsoever.

If you need an .eps I'll send one... but don't dare butcher it.

Also, the site says they put the bleed on themselves in the form of edging stitches.

Restrictions outlined.

Basically it's: If you want to use the logo I'm cool and have never prevented anyone from doing so... but use the logo well and respecting it. Otherwise, do whatever you want, but don't pass it off as the logo at all.

So basically what I've done now is, following the restrictions, taken the blue LFGSS text and added a black background, and as a precaution taken Murtle's advice and added a 5mm bleed on all sides. I've used the 6inch width as a guess and so the height would be 1.5ish inches following the aspect ratio of the logo. I'll now send this to the same company and get a quote for full production of 100 patches.

I'd suggest having the year stitched on in a contrasting colour and style.

Also, for large events, limited edition runs - 'I bin scobled!' / 'DAS!' / 'TNRC' / 'what bars are those?'

Repeat business as people just love collecting things.

I like that idea of adding the year. Plus the others could be a patch set.

Well, as I said. The only reason I'm doing this is to get an estimate for prices etc. I do not wish to be in charge of designing and reselling patches.

Fair enough but we will need a list of peopple who will actually want one of these to see if its worth it.
