I may have just got a bit carried away and ordered a yellow team sky, short sleeved jersey off eBay, from a seller in Australia, with zero feedback. This can only go well.

I reckon the who of England is now going to become mods and we will all be riding mod bikes and Velocio is going to be telling everybody 'its was me I was first' - is a mod bike a bike that's made in Italy ?

My mods claims go back to being at the Laurel Tree in late 1993 for Blow Up! when Blur hadn't yet finished Park Life. I was in Select magazine for the 6 page spread on the new wave of mods in mid 1994 post-Park Life (one of you may still have this, it was the issue with the Manics on the front and features my long-forgotten old name inside).
I'm proud of that stuff. Hence the tattoo. Waited a decade to get that as I wanted to be sure I'd never regret it.
Reminds me of the hardcore saying: If you're not now, you never were.
I'm a better mod than a fixed gear rider. Especially since I've only got a singlespeed at the moment. I figured it was going to come back into fashion soon enough (Blur being 21, the 80's fashion giving way to 90's) but I think Wiggins is going to help it come sooner.
Which might be a good thing, because the clubs were terrible from the late 90's onwards. They got lost in the dirge of Brit Pop. Hopefully we'll get some new music, and some reinforcement of the philosophy. I loathe the whole fat old tired men on scooters thing though, puts you right off your dinner.

Not nice to look at, but some of them were original Mods - it might be you in 15 years time!
