No, but it's an awful looking outfit. Should be regular shorts and helmet.

Alas they only seem to have the first stage and haven't bothered to put up either stage 2 or 3.

What was the deal with The Ride? A kind gentleman on this very forum sent me a link to a torrent for the first episode, but has it continued? Is it worth watching? That French kid looked like he could be a bit annoying to watch.

^^^ They had Stages 1 and 2 up last night but now they've only got Stage 1. Strange but I imagine they'll come back..

It was fucking shocking looking. Shorts should be black, end of. Or maybe a blue-grey. he lookedlike he should be running alongside the riders shouting like a twat rather than being one. Didn't Voekler end up with a polka dot bike last year? As well as a helmet? This is a trend that is getting out of hand.

In the slo-mo overhead shot it looked as though Sagans' last surge, (cue 'Carry on' style smirking), sent him sideways rather than through the line.

Watch the overhead of the final sprint. Gerrans leaves a gap to his lead out man, checks over his shoulder to see if anyone is making the jump, decides to go, sprints into the gap, holds the slipstream before bouncing out and round. Gives him just enough at the end to snatch it from Sagan..

Is it me or does Voekler pull it off here? Much better than Rolland today. perhaps it was the lack of a polka dot bike, but presumably you only get that when you win it outright.

Same with the yellow, green and world champions' jerseys. The jersey is enough, no need to turn it in a gimpy romper suit.
And while we are at it, they can get rid of those long vicar-on-a-picnic socks and the spunk-bubble aero helmets.
