Cycling at it's best... Wow!

Really didn't expect Sky to look so fragile this tour. Froome would have benefitted from a fit Wiggins acting as superdom today...

How many more times can ITV tell me that it's Cav's 25th win?

Wiggins would have got into the break with a big FUCK YOU face.

Good day for Belkin as well - well and truly on the map.

Did the wind have anything to do with the winning break getting away? Pleased for the Dutch guys - after years of Gesink not quite doing it must be good to see some real podium contenders...

Maybe not if Froome and his missus hadn't indulged in the theatrics and twitter spats last year... If wiggo has been captain this year he'd be well back by now and Froome would be leading the squad anyway, nobody's ego hurt and all that.

Cav just comes across as a really nice guy... Winning helps of course, but even when he's not.

Wiggins wouldn't have been able to help today.. It's just tactical knowhow. In a crosswind like that it's brutal and one strong time trialist just would not be able to bridge that alone.
Sky definitely missed Kiryinenka and EBH today
SexyTitsoff saw the chance, took it and buried it.

Sky missed Bernard Eisel today.
I don't know how much input he had in team selection, but I bet Froome wishes he'd picked some other riders now.

It's a shame Valverde wasn't at the front when Saxo showed how you take advantage of a beneficial situation. He might have learned something.

Total anticlimax now that the stage is over :(
Why can't the lazy bastards just get started on tomorrow's stage now...

I watched the documentary on Cav last night. Amongst other things which were evident about his personality one thing stood out. He is ecstatic when he wins and a complete nightmare when he loses. But who wants to lose eh?
Everyone in the bunch just thought 'fuck you' and put the hammer down on him and with the wind/echelons he just couldn't make it back and burnt everyone out chasing so it's just gone out and out.
