I do find it hard to
have any sympathy for him - when we treats everyone around him with such animosity. We could always try to treats people with less animosity and see how he gets on then?
-
• #2503
But that would involve conceding that Sky probably aren't doping: not gonna happen.
-
• #2504
They must be doping. Froome is clearly too good to be doing it clean. 100% going to win the tour. All the other riders are chumps compared to him and nothing can go wrong.

• #2505
Apart from a urine test.

It's 's' in the verb. We've been over this so many times. Clearly Schick's at fault here
True, true.

Stop it - my brain hurts.

"Goddam - another boring sprint stage and I'm working at home all day."
Theoretically speaking there's no reason why we couldn't have a GC battle on the flat stages, like in the good old days, only it has become a new tour tradition not to take chances it seems.
Be that on a relatively flat stage like today or a mountain stage, tactics are all about minimising the risk of a potential loss rather than the chances of a potential gain. Seriously doubt that we'll see any of the GC riders even remotely challenging Froome for the rest of this year's tour... except maybe for a stage win.

I really hope this is not the case.

Fuck.
I checked too. I blame Google. -

I still blame Schick.

"I really hope this is not the case."
Nor do I, but it's nature of the game. Still, never say never...

we need wind! lots of it. from the east or northeast. right now it's north-northeast and only 20km/h, so, probably boring again.

Isn't this because teams are so well prepared these day that no one GC team have the firepower to get one over another on flat stages. I don't think it is a credible chance that Valverde could get in a break and less so that he could make it stick.

Fuck.
I checked too. I blame Google.Well, that way you're likely to find the American spelling, which is 'practice' for both noun and verb. I learned American spelling first, which is why I occasionally still lapse into that sort of thing.

It's to be expected given the lack of interest in most of the stages of the second week.

I'm trying to organise beers here but all I get is BMMF on his break trying to intellectually troll the thread with his superior knowledge and experience.
Beer! Alpe D'Huez! Somewhere!
I bet BMMF won't even show up.
