  • Just got start village passes to stage 19. eat it armchair polo cycle noobz!

  • Norway TDF press say Eddie's done. End of TDF

  • ovs not juicing enough

  • Ps - BQ: Kittel was the most successful neo pro of all time. His star has been rising for a while. He also has the best hair in the peloton

Only because Fab's not here./there. wherever.

He's also by far the biggest rider in the peloton. (Magnus Backstedt is retired right)

  • Norway TDF press say Eddie's done. End of TDF

Team Sky confirm it as well

  • Shit. EBH is a hitter for froome.

  • Team Sky need to start making some friends in the peloton.
    Fast.

  • That's a pretty big engine gone there. With Kiriwhatshisface gone as well Sky have got some head scratching to do.

The other teams must be licking there lips

  • Somewhere near Wigan a skinny man is counting his fucking lucky stars

  • Time for some of the others to step up to the plate. Lopez has been anonymous so far in this Tour, so maybe they are saving him for the Alps?

If it were Wiggins leading the team, it would be more of an issue, but Froome is more versatile in the mountains, and doesn't need a steady stream of domestiques to set the pace for him.

  • Team Sky need to start paying some teams in the peloton.
    Fast.

    Maybe Garmin might, maybe not.

Was thinking the other day how Movistar seemed to be doing some old school shit shovelling for Tacky Saxo Wank or whatever they're called.

I guess it all still goes on.

  • Any explanation about what happened to Kiriyenka? He was pulling most of the way on climbs at Crit Int and Dauphine. Siutsou notable by his absence as well.

  • From what I've read, Kiriyenka was the main impetus in the chase to bring Porte back to the front group on Sunday and over did it.

Siutsou looked immense in the one race I saw of him (I think crit. intl.). Did a huge turn on the front in a mountain stage and shelled almost everyone out the back. Surprised not to have seen him smashing it more in this tour.

  • I think he was working early hours in the races, covering breaks etc. all the heavy shit they fail to show on TV, when the pace is fucking hot.

  • Only because Fab's not here./there. wherever.

This goes without saying. I heart Fab.

  • Was it Kittel who admitted pooing himself due to his dicky tummy during last year's Tour?

  • Norway TDF press say Eddie's done. End of TDF

Sad way to exit but we all know he simply took a dive in order to remain overrated.. as hippy's always right.

  • EBH :'( my fave

    Get better Eddy

  • I've been away and am catching up on the highlights, I just wanted to say I think Quintana the columbian is really cool. Just seen him win the highest climb of the tour on stage eight, looking forward to seeing more of him I hope.

  • True. I am hereby transferring my EBH crush to Quintana.

  • Kwiatkowski ftw

  • Here's the 2011 Vuelta ITT Froome power file which suggest FTP 430w @ 71 kg so if he's dropped a couple of kg and hit 450W bingo 6.5w/kg

    http://www.trainingpeaks.com/av/Z3JDD63H2UVGP77YSXNITPULAE

I just looked at that link. Where'd you get the 430W figure from?

"Froome averaged 5.8w/kg at 406W for nearly an hour!" which is nowhere near a 430W FTP.

So he's already a Tour contender and just added 50W to his FTP in 2 years whilst dropping weight.. sounds legit.

Hippy is clearly right, Frome is legit.

Garmin would seem the most approachable for Sky. They are a strong team & Millar and Brailsford are close. But I don't think Dan Martin has much time for them as he felt he was let down by Brailsfrd and British Cycling early in his career when they were focused on track.

Never happen though. Sky will live or die by their own actions.
