  • Orica Greenedge trending in SE5 this morning

  • they should ban all the buses that don't make the time cuts

Orica won't have a problem with that.

    #destroyalltiminggantries

  • I've said it before, but Orica has nothing on flickwg.

  • "Good quote from cycling weekly:
“On note of Ted King, anyone who can ride at 28.6 mph+ (32:32) for 25km with separated shoulder on a road bike should be in the Tour de France.”

    #lettedride "

Basically they can make exceptions from the time limit for whatever reason; hard as fuck ought to be one of them.

  • Safe to say anybody who gets to Paris is hard as fuck.

Actually - I'm not convinced about Andy Schleck but he won't make Paris anyway.

  • I'm going to stick my neck out here and say that I think Andy Schleck is looking in very good shape and will surprise the naysayers in this race.

  • And anyone who starts the Tour is worthy of respect as a cyclist.

  • Most of us can only dream about it.

  • Sometimes dreams are better kept where they belong... just a little bit out of reach.

  • Andy was sitting on Jens' wheel and looking pretty comfortable at the pointy end of things.

    this.

(though you can add a this from me after anything andy says)

come on kevin reza. i love europcars attitude to the tour

Magnus reckons he's on the comeback and will be firing for the Vuelta but not quite right for the Tour. I'm expecting nothing from him so he'll probably win a stage and beat Cadel now..

  • Eurosport have got James Richardson in the studio. Nice touch - I think he's a class broadcaster. Much rather have him on the mic instead of Carlton Kirby.

  • Roche - is he gonna win?

  • would be nice for birthday boy. but surely this is cav's stage

  • Only if he makes the last couple of climbs.

  • Would love to see Roche win. Realistically I can't see it happing, but ,but, but...

  • Sagan, I mean Gossy. :)

OGE will be too busy trying to keep the yella jumpa

  • Did Roche grow up in France? His accent is really bizarre.

  • "Not every Englishman was quite so thrilled. "Bollocks!" tweeted Mark Cavendish after he put in several almighty pulls for his Omega Pharma-Quick Step team only for them to miss out on victory by 0.76 sec.

  • Another point on Schleck; he actually rode on for two days after fracturing his pelvis at 2012 Dauphine. Don't imagine many of those now hero worshipping Thomas have treated Schleck with anything but derision since.

  • 1 day and then abandoned. If he was British I'm sure he'd be 'nails' but he's not so fuck him.

  • best text based web ticket update thingy?
    guardian seems to suck

  • OGE, now with yellow noggins >>>
