Great news Eightball. Don't feel pressured to give interviews if you don't feel comfortable with it.
Besides, I'd say what you are managing to do on here in keeping us abreast of Jason's situation is far more loving and important.
Can we do anything for you at this stage?

No I'm OK thank you - I've been really touched at the amount of PM's and friend requests for me, and it's really nice. I guess updating all of J's friends on the forum is making me feel I have some purpose as I'm at the opposite end of the country just now and feel pretty useless otherwise.

Came across this through Facebook. Eightball thanks for the updates, I know a lot of people will be following this down in Bournemouth.
I've been riding with Jason for going on a year now in both the league and as a member of the Arrow's. He was, and still is leading the B league in the track league and had literally just tried his hand at the madison which I know he loved when he tried it!
Wishing him all the best and the most speedy recovery

Really sounds positive. Still on tenterhooks though.

Really pleased to hear Jason's doing a bit better, I've been thinking about him a lot and wishing him well from afar.
Eightball, thank you x1000000 for the updates. Hope you're holding up okay.

This is J and me at some bloody moth night he dragged me along to in Bedford in 2006 - it was in the grounds of a nice stately home, forget which one. I sat and surreptitiously drank my ale I had stolen from the pub and secreted about my person whilst people of indeterminate stages of OCD and personal hygiene ooh'ed and ahh'ed over our furry night time butterfly impersonating friends

I've never met *m.f but I've found myself checking back to this thread regularly looking for updates on his condition. It's great to hear things are going in the right direction and it speaks volumes about the man that he is in the thoughts of so many people.

Just a note to say you fine people have so far donated £205 pounds to Jason/family - the flowers that were sent were £63 (they were delivered but not taken into unit - I bloody hope they find their way to him) so that leaves £142 - any thoughts on what we should do with it?
If anyone does want to contribute in lieu of a paypal or any other type of pot, I've been giving people my bank details - just PM me

any thoughts on what we should do with it?
How about a nice prostitute?
Too early?

A flight from Scotland for you to visit him when he can take visitors.

I suggested that and 8ball seemed dead set that the cash go to Jason... Perhaps we should fix his presumably shafted bike? He'll be back on it in no time and a pringled wheel will be no fun at all.

No, I think they work all hours.

Let's wait and see eh? A gesture now would be nice but Jason may need more important stuff later on that we can help out with.
Encouraging news, thanks as ever.
