Looks great, i like the carbon cover, it might be cosmetic but it goes with the 75 aero cranks well. Also have you lacquered the frame? or is it raw?
-
• #55
yes, why?
can someone explain this?
where is mr tester?I'm here, and I can't explain it. Some people just like to make their bikes worse in order to look different, I suppose.
100% improved using just a mirror:

frame is just raw. i was expecting it to start rusting but it hasn't yet. i love the glossy carbon/polished aluminium/dull steel contrast thats going on
If done properly (which it looks like you have) left side drive is cool. Not a big fan of the carbon on the chainring though - it just seems silly to add, since it doesn't add anything of value(aside from a very small aero advantage)
the carbon makes the chainring at least look like the original one should, so I'm happy with that. and it weighs about 16grams so who cares. and yep it will be more aerodynamic so i can save myself maybe one whole watt per week ;-)

defiantly for sale
As God is my witness, as God is my witness they're not going to lick me. I'm going to live through this and when it's all over, I'll never be hungry again. No, nor any of my folk. If I have to lie, steal, cheat or sell my Pinarello.

Defiantly was the right word, surely?
Anything that splits opinion so much has to be sold in a balls-out, like it or fuck off type way.
(I am hoping you are selling it on with the drivetrain setup included, and that someone else devil-may-care/devil-may-unscrew-my-BB takes it off your hands)

devil-may-unscrew-my-BB
Left hand drive has no bearing on BB unscrewing.
Also, dream on; I think he'd lie, steal, cheat and kill before letting go of those cranks.

Silly question I'm sure but did this frame originally have a 650c front? or were the old forks 700?
