  • Thanks Ed, I will give that stuff a look later, I have some dhb thermal bibs for winter which were well priced and seemed good quality so i was looking at some more stuff from them.

  • Just curious how the Histo' compares to steel when riding a lot of miles?

  • If you're free on Saturday I'll hopefully be seeing this absolute sled, George.

I love the Vivalo, but this feels so much better putting the power down, especially climbing, very stiff frame.

In short I think it is a great frame for longer rides, I will be doing some more very soon so I will let you know how I get on.

Really Jake? I will be free indeed. :)

  • Yep, bringing the Panasonic and wheels to Matty as we've discussed it and not only is it a few quid cheaper when using my railcard, but it's also safer! I was just really worried about it getting damaged in the post. Gonna bring Dolan pls. Matty suggested we go for a ride? :-)

  • That sounds awesome mate, i'm looking forward to it. I will have a look at a route we can do. What time do you think you will be down? :)

  • Getting in to st davids at about 10.30, but need to be back at st davids by about 1.15. Unfortunately the cheapest train back is at that time.

  • Fair enough, I will make sure i'm up so there is time to do a few miles at least.

like your going to be in any fit state to go anywhere saturday morning

    ;)

  • I rode George's histo today and all I can describe it as is tight as fuck. Everything felt so in tune. So smooth and stiff as anything. Incredibly light and accelerated with no effort atmall. Very jealous! I would have just ridden off whilst George wasn't looking if it was my size.

    Strong riding from George, too!

  • Haha thanks Jake, it was nice to meet you. Thanks for not riding off with it! It was a nice day too, just a bit windy. I still intend to come up to London at some point, would be good to ride with some more forumers.

Good riding from you too Jake, especially with a bag on. :)

This is the ride btw, you can see where we went.

  • Still really enjoying the mash, it has taken up commuting duties as I enjoy it so much. I have raised the saddle and move it back a bit since the first pics. I have found the zoncolan very comfy, but i have just fitted the slr to test back to back.

I am looking at getting road drops in the next few weeks, I think I am going for the ergonova pro as I like the flat tops and the shallow drop will keep it comfy.
